Factory photos of my Sanhui 145 cm doll, head 16 skin tone 2
Just received photos of my doll order from Sex Doll Canada: Sanhui 145cm body with heads #16 and #15 in skin tone #2. The head on the body is number 16 and was my main choice. I believe the doll has number 4 grey eyes, but I just asked for any light Sanhui eye color. I like how her smoky eye makeup matches her tits. Those nipples look coated too, so I think they can withstand some nibbling without fading any time soon. As a makeup artist myself I really find it amusing when a lady's makeup matches her areola or labia.
I am very happy with how the doll looks so far. It is hard to tell how realistic the doll's skin tone is from the pretty strong variations in temperature, exposure, tint, and camera color profiles though. I tried getting a feel for her true skin tone from looking at pictures on my color calibrated monitor as well as smartphone, but could not get an accurate idea. I really hope she isn't a ghost. Very glad to not choose Sanhui's lightest skin tone #1 as that would definitely be much too pale for a sex doll of my liking.
I saw head #15 in the head picker and loved how fierce 'sexy chinese girl / club girl' she looked. But I think I will instead get purple eyes #6 and a colourful wig for that head as it looks a bit plain with the super dark #1 eyes. A K-pop idol look seems like a good fit for her triangle bone structure face anyways.

She looks great! How long was production for her from order to factory photos? (I'm waiting on a 161 at the moment!)

For years I've had one goal to get a realistic silicone doll: replicate to the furthest extent the essence of a DS EVO Kayla for under $2500 USD from a budget silicone doll manufacturer. Been thinking this for years, so very glad you mentioned that. I like how Sanhui head 16 has more eyelid mass than the usual wide open doe-eyed doll look. Not only does she have a sultry sexy look from the eyelids when it's time for bed, but when the original makeup wears down i'll have much more canvas to try out different makeup looks. I also like how the bridge/nose of 16 is rectangular, but not too much to be piggish. One of my really cute stoner friends in highschool had this same nose and I loved it.
It took 20 days from payment to factory photos. I screwed around a bit with the emails right after ordering so it was actually a few days more, but that's definitely not Sanhui's fault. Sex Doll Canada (my local vendor) said it would take 4 weeks with the black friday orders but seems it went through a little quicker.

I'm surprised I was that on the money saying that she looks like Kayla - she definitely does, but I thought it was pure coincidence, not that you'd chosen her specifically for that look.
I think Sanhui have done a great job on the makeup, and I doubt it'll wear off any time soon. Of my 3 ladies, their face makeup has never had any damage or wear over a few years now. It's interesting that you mention eyelid mass as I think it's one of those things that is quite rare in dolls - which is a shame for those of us that like a genuine asian look and not the more westernized round eyed look.
20 days is pretty fast! I am expecting mine to take longer due to having a custom skin tone, but we'll see. Speaking of skin tones, you'll probably find that your doll will be darker in real life. Factory photos tend to use quite harsh lighting that makes everything look whiter than it looks in real life.

Oh really? I've only done makeup on TPE so I was hoping to be able to redo head 15's makeup. It really bums me out that budget doll manufacturers never give what photoshoots show ... just like the porn industry. I'll have to research more but I do plan to use some ultra high grit sandpaper to wear down the opacity of head 15's eyebrows, then reshape them with a brow pencil and finally coat with RTV silicone and either sand away the shine or coat with no-flashback makeup powder for photography.Willendorph wrote: I think Sanhui have done a great job on the makeup, and I doubt it'll wear off any time soon. I prefer asian doll faces since even without makeup they seem to look more realistic than their western sisters. The sculptor can just go to a decent shopping district and get familiar with cute/fine asian girl bone structure. Western face understanding seems to be inferred from pictures ... when I can tell that abstraction in the end result, I look elsewhere.
I sure hope her skin is darker than the factory photos; it would be nice if it's like the 'natural' skin tone from DS doll's 167 Evo Nell. I think thats a nice realistic tone that doesn't require expensive painting.
