Thank you harem and auto. I do have a note of leave, but my instructor is supposed to be talking with the director to see if I can skype into the class on the days I would have had to be in class. I haven't heard anything yet, but I do plan to follow up with her today.

Today sucks! It has been exactly one year since my Dad died and I am struggling. But that’s not the only bullshit going on around here. Early yesterday morning I had a sneezing fit and I swear I tore or popped something inside because the pain has intensified, not that it has gone away to begin with, and I find no relief. I am very angry about this. I am four weeks post surgery, out of pain pills and so frustrated that I have been screaming, crying and literally throwing a tantrum. I can’t stand the pain anymore. I can’t stand not having my independence either.

There are some who say that we come into this consciousness to learn lessons.

Whether that be true is a matter of belief but sometimes ideas can be helpful. Getting angry doesn't help. Being accepting may help you to heal faster.

you are probably right, harem and I am learning some valuable lessons here. Like, how I still need to keep with my plan of finishing school, getting a career and leaving HH for good. I am so used to taking care of everything and being down like this makes me feel completely useless. I know my surgery was more complicated and my condition was severe, but still hurting bad after 4 weeks? It is discouraging.

Just try to keep your chin up and don't let your anger over the situation get the best of you.
Harem is right, it will impede your healing.

I know where your coming from. Sometimes anger gets the best of me as well, especially when it comes to physical or emotional pain and discomfort.
Getting angry about it never seems to help.

Good luck on healing up and hang in there.
