Doll Data Sheet template for Buyer or Collector resource

Post by ppjdog765 »

Hi folks,

I'm still researching before my first buy... and I've put together several data sheets to help me compare specs and "visuals" of dolls that catch my eye.

I'm sharing this 1st one for feedback, then if there's interest or suggested modifications I'll edit and post more. (I'm only using original manufacturer images, I think that's ok right?).

I've creatively cropped some of the images to maximize space. And chose images from their limited sets that I felt showed characteristics that demonstrate good form. Enjoy!

Nice, but people that trust website data as well as all the photos some times are in for a rude awakening
Dolls 5-12CM shorter than promoted
Dolls 10 lbs heavier

. One vendor name kept coming up as being great at helping customers walk through the process, Booty Call Dolls. So I decided I would work with them on this first purchase, and did.

You could not of found a better person to help you with your first doll. Jeff /Booty call dolls, knows his stuff... One of the few members that is a vendor and a real lover of dolls. He owns quite a few dolls, and really understands the love we all share.

What's the reason for the discrepancy in reported height vs actual?

It's not like the metal frame shrinks.

If I can't trust the manufacturers advertised specs how else am I to base my purchase decision?

Perhaps, together on the forum we can call them out on false advertising so that they are discouraged from misreporting.

Many of the photos on the vendor/mfr sites are heavily doctored which is why perusing buyer photos is the best way to go to see how the doll actually looks in reality.

ppjdog765,
Your best bet is to find doll you like the IT 163 plus and find people that own them.
You can find real word data on her under IT and I own an IT 163 plus.
Hannah is my IT 163 plus.
She will weigh about 20 lbs more than the slender and sexy WM 166C.
Both dolls have very good love hole placement
Best,
Jeff

I appreciate the warning. I have recently read Panther68's post;

Irontech 163, Tale of the tape and review.
viewtopic.php?f=388&t=111931

He show's his measurments and it is exactly as you say.

I am disappointed in Irontech, It's a shame that they're misrepresenting their specs. I hope they fix their product information.

Misrepresenting the weight ruins them for me. I am carefully considering every detail and this makes me doubt Irontech as an option.

Now it will just take me even longer to come to a decision :-(
