Rachael Looks Crooked.

This may look like a simple fix to some but I have as yet been able to straighten her up. She looks tilted to her right(camera left) as you can see by how her right shoulder and boob are lower than the other one. When I lay her down her left shoulder is almost touching the bed but her right shoulder is shy of touching the bed by a couple inches or so.

I've tried to twist her over the opposite way but have had little luck...need some advice.

Hi ColColt,
Move just the shoulder and not the entire torso. The way to do that is to lift the arm straight out to the side, lift it up and rotate the entire arm opposite the way its pushed back, which would be bringing it around toward the front and you should be able to reposition the shoulder back into its forward position.

Sounds like you have a stiff back joint that's twisted. Likely also shrugging shoulders.

Probably twisted like this. With the shrugging shoulders you're more likely to move the shoulder than the spine. What you need to do is lay your hand flat across the dolls sternum.

Then push down on the raised hip here.

This should straighten the spine out flat.

If you need pictures of a doll showing this I can probably get some later. I think the skeleton is better for showing the moving parts.

I'll give these a try, thanks, but no...GR, she doesn't have the shrugging shoulders.

I got her pretty well straightened out. Thanks for the suggestions. I'm not sure how she got t here in the first place. I've never twisted her tors left/right but have bent her over forward as to tie her shoes but not back to arch the back. I still can't do that and I've had her some six months.
