Redirecting to the new server

Hi All,

I'am redirecting everything to the new server.
Tomorrow the old server will go down.
Hopefully we are in time with the domain name move, else some people will not be able to access TDF.
I've put everything into work, if everything goes well then within 24-36 hours from now the whole world knows our new domains.
You'll see our ip some days.. but I think its better to move now finally.
We will loose the posts of the last 12 hours.
I can't add those any more.
Further the dollalbum is till Sunday afternoon.
I hope that people can upload the very latest photo's again.

If the whole domain move will take longer it may be a good idea to save http://66.228.125.59/ to your favorites in your browser.
You can always access us, even if the domain is not yet moved when the old server drops out of the air, and not redirects us to this ip any more.

Thank you mytime for your incredible efforts to keep The Doll Forum online, we owe you SO much, man, you deserve a well earned vacation once you´re done transfering the whole Doll Forum to a new server!

Two of the last posts that I made here in the forums got lost, but no biggie, I understand

Hi All,

I had to move the whole thing to a new ip this morning else I had to do that later with a lot inconvience.
So I've done that now.
But I had still the new dollalbum and the archived dollalbum not 100% running, (slow or not working properly).
This is now fixed. Both dollalbum and archived dolls are fast now.
Maybe that speed will lower when the load on this machine becomes higher.

Note: I hope everybody who's lost pictures (dollgallery is of Sunday Afternoon) is so friendly to help us and post them again...

Further... Perry, I hope you still are feeling happy on this new plane!
Do you remember that you're thinking that we would get lost 2 months ago?

but it kept repling as host not found. So we were with out connection to the TDF for just about 24 hours, until the IP / server change was re-propergrated down us.

I started asking Mia if she posted something to get us banded... She said No...

Anyway its good to be back, and I hope the server transistion went well on your end Mytime.....

Hi XXX,

Glad that you're back.
I think the domain is changed on all domain name servers now, I've started the change around 20:00 yesterday.
I think also there was some delay caused by our farm who not directly added the records to their dns server.
Any way, we are in the world, and the server seems to me to run very well. There are only still some things we need to fix, e.g. following threads with notification by email does not work.
But I'am glad we're here. Our old servers RIP. Both TDA and TDF server can't be accessed by ping any more. So those are already plugged off.
