What to avoid (tpe dolls)

Post by Mystery83 »

I've created this thread so that anyone who owns or has owned a tpe doll(s) can warn newbies (or anyone invested in the care of tpe dolls) of materials, liquids or surfaces that harm tpe. I want this thread to be based on personal experiences as well as expert advise.

Ex: My doll stained when I sat her on a %100 polyester bath mat. (these are made up examples)
Ex: The tpe on my dolls elbow dissolved when I mistakenly splashed bleach on her.

Hi can not see why you have to bath a new doll, I can understand the oil and vaseline but why take chance on washing her with something you should not :?:

yes I did read that on a thread, I also read if water gets inside them not good, so if the feet have holes in them don't stand in water ok

With anti-bacterial soap, by hand. Blot dry with chamois (the best at not leaving lint), repeat until the smell is gone. An exellent post on this is one page 5 of this thread:

If they are in the shower, cover the neck and feet, if they are standing option feet. Well covered in:

That post is absolutely invaluable. I've read the entire thing. I just thought that I'd make this post specifically about what *not* to do based on first hand experience. Things that might have been overlooked or newly discovered.

DO NOT leave water based lube in a TPE doll. Clean it out as soon as possible and make sure she is 100% dry in her orifices or she will mold on you. I learned this the hard way. :(
No matter how pretty she is, there is a guy out there somewhere who is tired of her shit!

Girlfriends are for guys who haven't found the right doll yet.

I feel much better now that I've given up hope.

Don't let your doll sit on a chair with leather / faux leather covers... my doll looked like she had a huge bruise on her butt after sitting her on one for just 20 minutes!

Also be careful of some wigs, they may have some dark threads in the netting that will stain the head really bad.

Talking of wigs be careful of individual strands of hair. If they get caught under the earlobe or similar snag points and you pull that hair, it can/will cut the TPE. Personal experience here! Careful of the wig pulling down on her ears too.
Happiness can't be bought. But dolls can.
