Need some tips on removing stains on my Anastasia

Post by Panther68 »

Well, guys, I did it. I pulled the rookie move.

I had Ana wear her blue dress too long. She has stains on her breast, elbow and back of knees.

Before I try anything, I would like to get some recommendations. I am out the door to walk the dog, so hopefully I will get a reply upon my return.

When I get back, I will post some pictures.

Thanks

I've not had clothing stains, but have had a few from unknown sources. RLSD sent a stain remover, which works. Petroleum jelly also seems work on TPE dolls. You have to let it soak in for a bit. Depending on the severity it could take several treatments to get the stain out.

This "Indigo" stain remover works great:

You can find references to it here if you search. However, I've read some saying it's just pure white mineral oil, so maybe you could get similar results just using vaseline or nivea cream. But I can tell you this stuff works!

Thanks guys, Fortunately, I have all of the above. So, I will start the process.

Unfortunately, no boob photos for you guys, until she recovers, though she can still show the clevage.

The culprit. I think it was the hot sunroom causing the TPE to absorb the dye from the dress.
She has worn this dress before, for many hours, with no issues.

Some photos of the damage.

On this last photo, you can see the slight shade difference at the knees wear her dress ends.

Any other tips are appreciated. I know this will take some time, but thats fine, as long as my Ana recovers.

Oh yeah sun and that outfit is all bad! Good luck man...

I found that using a very small paintbrush, like a detail art brush works good with the stain remover. You don't want to use more of it than you have to; and it bleeds very slightly to surrounding area. All you have to do is barely cover to the edge of the stain. Then cover it up just enough so all you see is the cream (no color beneath).

It will take you several applications but you'll get there. Apply, wait 12 hours, wipe off with wet squeezed out paper towel, wait 12 hours more, repeat...

Vaseline or some other Petroleum Jelly with time is probably better. I've had good luck with it and random stains.

Order some indigo stain remover, and it will remove the stain in 24 hours. It really works.
