Plus one from me Sam, saved my some typing.

What, we doll owners need to buy tampons too? I swear the first time I go shopping for the doll people are going to look at my shopping cart full of make-up, hairpins, perfume, tampons and all other female-oriented products and think I've gone completely mad.
Since is only toward the tip of the tongue, maybe one time you kissed her and forgot all about it.
Also i think mold first starts with a lighter color like sort of grey, that is very dark so has been keep forming for some time.
In that condition i would garbage it and forget about it.
It is not how fast you go, but how you go fast.

I'm starting to think too

This I had done, I just kept it to experiment with because I have no other piece of silicone
At this moment I'm experimenting with an anti fungal remover that I already had.
Question, how do you disinfect or protect silicone dolls best from mold?
I thought so far that anti-bacterial soap was enough
Maybe use an antibacterial mouthwash before kissing her! Kidding!
As said before, mold only grows where there's moisture so dry her well after any washing and then powder well! I think antibacterial soap may not actually stop mould which is a fungus not bacteria! The soap should stop mold as it has zinc in it but you can use isopropyl alcohol to wipe a Silicone lady down (don't use on TPE!). That will sterilise everything (it's used in hospitals too!). A milder version of that is surgical spirit which should also do the job!

Where does one find tea tree oil? (Other than a tea tree)
Buy it online like ebay.

Tampons. They are made to be absorbant. They are made to soak up moisture.

Maybe a stupid question, but what kind of tool do you use this alcohol in openings like the mouth and vagina?
(By the way, this alcohol I have all my life in my house)
Just because this hasn't been mentioned, I'll add that heat, of course, kills mold. Silicone can withstand over 300° F: a temperature that melts TPE. I believe boiling hot water is hot enough.
I don't know how such heat would affect makeup.
I would try scrubbing the inside of her mouth with baking soda to remove mold residue.
Health food shops often have tea tree oil. I hope you have deep pockets if you're going to get some.
I use this to apply alcohol.

Yes i have a head with a fixed tongue from PIB (private island beauties) and Patrick told me to put boiling water inside as it will not do any damage, when is dry, then to spray alcohol. (this is not for mold issues but for cleaning)

I have very good news for people with mold problems.
If you can remember, I was experimenting with a anti fungal remover.
Well ..... the results are incredible.
After 3 days of treatment, the tongue is free of fungus.
The tongue has been free from fungus for 2 days, I think this is very hopeful.
In the treatment of Lucy's head, these have already disappeared for 90% at the moment.
I have to say that I used only the anti-fungal product in contrast to the tongue.
By the tongue, I also tried other products without immediate result and therefore went to a more drastic measure by removing the big spots with tweezers.
And this before I came up with the idea to try the antifungal product.
Please note that anyone who wants to try this too!
1 - The anti-fungal product is toxic
2 - It is necessary to refresh this product repeatedly for several days, and if necessary, use an old toothbrush to clean occasionally.
3 - The best way is to maintain a constant wet surface.
4 - After the treatment, disinfect the silicone before use
5 - For a few days, stay away for a few days to see if the fungus does not return
6 - The next lesson is learned, silicone always disinfects with alcohol after use and ensures that it is dry as quickly as possible.
For this latter, I use a cotton piece of cloth to absorb the moisture, then I blow heat into the cavity with a hair dryer, and then I put a tampon (overnight) in the cavity to make sure that all the moisture is removed .
After drying, disinfect with alcohol
