Storing/hiding dolls and having easy access to them is like having your cake and eating it too. This bed seems like it accomplishes this goal, but we will know for sure when pictures are posted.

I left my tape measure in my sister in laws car I burrowed to pick up the bed frame. Not sure how accurate these measurements are, but I got this for storage space.

L: 202.5cm 6.64 Ft
W: 153cm 5 Ft
H: 27cm 10.6 Inches to highest part of storage space until item touches bed.

This looks perfect. It looks like it just needs an opaque sheet attached to the underside of the frame and some sort of lock attached to the lifting mechanism. Both these should be easy. Oh and can't forget the foam to lay on the floor.

It comes with a white wooden sheet. I didn't use it. If you mean the floor that is.

I was thinking of lining the entire interior bottom with a 3 inch thick memory foam sheet on which to lay the dolls in order to prevent compression damage.

There are lots of options on Amazon. This one at $71 looks like it would serve the purpose without breaking the bank. You can spend much more for better quality, but since a human is not going to be laying on it, I think that this one would be sufficient.

Here we go. Found one at the same price with better ratings.

Some reviews state that 4 inch foam is the way to go; however, this is for human weight. For doll weight, 3 inch foam will be sufficient.

Damn it. But I just ordered a Keter Rockwood Deck Box

Though, only got it because there's a holiday sale going on. Figured now is as good a time to get it for $120 when the thing is normally $300.

A bed with hidden storage is not as conspicuous as a 50" long locked storage deck in your closet....

Wish I had known about storage beds that you could buy. I saw one guy on here make his own, but never thought to see if you could just buy one.

If your bed needs replacing anyway, the storage bed is a great option. If your bed is fairly new, then other options may be better. Inside the bed storage though is a very nice way to hide your dolls & like you said, very inconspicuous.

Unfortunately the resale value on beds is not good; almost better off giving it to Salvation Army and getting the tax deduction if you decide to go that route.

Did we determine the eye bolt thread size? Was it 3/8th m16?
