It's strange their skirts developed an odour, I haven't noticed anything with Katie's clothes. Although I do have to be careful of dye transfer on dark, man-made fibre clothes. Cotton is fine even in black.
Ivory's got her lovely dragon again, she's very fond of that, never without it. Nice how she's holding Ebony's arm.
Nice shot GG.

Best wishes from us on the Wild Plains
Thank you for the compliments, E&I send hugs and kisses to Katie (and Hanna and yourself)

They always make me smile when looking at them and yes, they are very cautious with everything.

This time of the year I have late sunrays shining through the big window in my living room and the sun caught E&I still on their favorite place for surfing the internet

The first two are made with semi lowered blinds, therefore the stripes on their bodies, for the last one I pulled up the blind, it is pure evening sunlight.

For the setup: I used a tripod and a Sigma 70-200mm f2.8

Those are nice GirlsGang. You've caught the strength of the light very well. Nice how it lights Ivory's face.
Gosh, they like the i-pad, I wonder what they're looking at.
One question, what's the stripy thing sat behind Ivory? It sits very nicely with the stripy effect of the blind.

Best wishes from me and Hanna and furious waving from Katie to Ebony and Ivory.

Their favorite site is: https://shop.smartdoll.jp/ clothing section
The stripy thing is a stainless steel tube from a speaker stand (1.5 m behind Ivory), so that is more an accident than intended

I love the way the sun brings out their features enough to make them 'real'! Great photos mate! I've taken so many photos in that sort of light as the evening sun comes into my bedroom. I have about an hour at most to get the right shots and just have to click away and hope there's some good ones as there's no going back until the next day when it may be cloudy! So, well done for capturing the right moments here!

Cheers, Hollows.

With the blinds up the contrast was at the limit of the camera as can be seen in Ivorys face in the last picture (there are pure white spots) so you are right, it is difficult to meet the right 5 minutes of light. At least I succeeded to a fair amount of quality
Thanks for stopping by.

I love the little dragon!!

What kind of doll are those?

They are called Smart Dolls, 1/3 size BJD (60cm) and made by a company called Culture Japan in Tokio.
You can find everything about them here: https://shop.smartdoll.jp/ (which is the dolls favorite website as well and a big danger for my credit card)
Their names are Ebony Futaba and Ivory Futaba.
The only other 2 I know in TDF live with Karrot, they are Mirai Suenaga and Kizuna Yumeno

The dragon originally was a key chain and Ivory is not seen often without him

Thanks and yes I saw all that......I am sort of an analog kind of old phart so it was more then I need. But they are cute as heck! Maybe something for a Grand-kid when she is a little older? Never know, she is into Phicens now....

For clarification: the USB charging capability is an option and you have to replace the torso on a regular smart doll. In the past, there was a discount of 11% at their birthdays.

Ivory said, she wants to have some training for self-defense 8O and I think Ebony will join this adventure.

Stay tuned  (will take some time)

Aaaww, the lovely Lady Ivory and her wee dragon.
What a great little outfit she's got, love the little red belt too. Mmm if those two are learning Karate they'll make good bodyguards for L & L. They could be very handy to have around, as well as cute. I love the way her dragon is doing the moves with her.
Nicely shot, as always.

Cheers GirlsGang, nice to see Ivory out and about.

Best wishes to all at The Schloss from here on the Wild Plains
