Hi Syn, Any updates on the marquette, as we need to chat about getting funds from AU to the US, as currently I have the shits with PayPal, and I am thinking of fucking them off, so we will need to establish a relaible funds transfer pipeline, that is secure and functional, as the 10 percent loss margin with PayPal is intolerable and may destroy the budget on this project.

Hey Anung: I'll have the maquette (body) ready by Friday, the 16th. I quickly read the PayPal announcement and no doubt that would be a serious hindrance to anyone's budget. I found out that if you send money to a friend, you will be charged a 3% fee. They always boasted about not charging a fee for personal transactions. Apparently, there is a limit to the amount you can send before they lay that fee on ya. If you send ie. $1500 + goodbye $45.00.

Wow..this could be a lot of smaller runs then, can you find out the limit your end, before fees kick in, as we may need to micro this slow time...so fees plus conversion margin rip offs.

If only Ozzy banks did not fuck up wire transfers to US banks

Good news with the mini...feel free to share any images...we can use that export as a test run to set up the money tube.

What's up guys, just a quick update on the Agony "mini" sculpt. This is certainly a Work In Progress that will need adjustments and refinements as each phase occurs. But, as of now, I have the basic design of the body and legs for the Agony maquette.

I seem to have given Anung a good first impression with this version so far and he is definitely looking forward in seeing the completed sculpt. So, I've gotten the 'ok' from him to proceed with this concept. There will be variations to the original MadMind Studios and the CreepyChimera Design that Anung has been showing throughout this thread. Obviously, he'll approve each change as it occurs, but all in all this should be a concept that is just as good as the other two versions that have been presented previously.

Again, I'm just using the phone camera to take these pics, but I'm trying to do a little better with the lighting. This ain't Alottahope photography studios.

Thanks, Syn, so as you see we are progressing with this project. I have been liaising with Syn regularly as we first work on the 1/3rd miniature and then after evaluation of the miniature move onto the full-scale doll.

Between Syn and I we will provide updates to track the progress of both the miniature and eventually the full-scale doll, that can show not only what is involved in making a doll from scratch, but be taking it that extra step with such a unique custom.

This will showcase the capability of an up and coming maker and will provide insight into what is also considered for the more generic type lines, that Syn's new company will have for the regular doll enthusiast.

These latest sculpts are the first step rough out shape sculpts, prior to detailing that will be used to form the mold for the miniature. The spines, scales, tail attachment are yet to be added but should be available for viewing within the next fortnight or so.

Here is a rough idea for comparisons, however, the spines will be more aggressive, and there will be the tail, plus the flesh on her abs will be more in line with the other images, and her limbs will have more tone and you will note we have agree on a split toes cloven type option rather than a hoove.

Ok ...for the guys still on the Kickstarter of the game...who are still trying to figure out how to possess the "chained she-demon" and get the demon's powers and possess the demon to move on to the next stage..."Hint"



.and I am not actually kidding..when the critics and reviewers say you need to get into the demon ...well...that is where this doll concept evolved from

Ok ...a snappy update as Syn and I are gradually getting the sculpt of the 1/3rd scale miniature sculpt sorted before we agree on the final mould for the 1/3 version of Agony.

A few quick sculpt images, noting the head details still need finishing, we are still working the tail glutes transition and redoing the lower feet, due to clay degradation, but thought I would post an update just for those following the progress and for reference for those that want to commision a custom doll in the future to capture what is involved in the process...(and reworks, adjustments, and reworks)
So, the sculpt for the miniature is about 75% complete, and on a side note, once the full 1/3 scale version of the doll is available (in the same material and mini chassis of the full scale), it is likely that we will also have the mini version as an option for the mini doll collectors and gamers that want better than some mass produced commercial product...so happy for any expressions of interest in a mini version for your collections as well

UPDATE

So for my offline followers of this project here is the latest update.

The sculpt for the 1/3rd scale Marquette is about 90% done. My partner Syn, has been extremely patient and busy with my fussiness and minor changes as we start to see the sculpt form the final version before the mould is cast and the Marquette will go into production.

We are considering also offering the Marquette's for separate sale, for Gamers and mini doll and figure collectors as well, and she will be around 2'1" (65cm) in height. You may even see one pop up in the Hilarious SciFy Parody topic from OlManOz "My Teddy will not talk to me"

There are still some minor repairs to be done, an increase in the girth of the upper tail to the tail bone, and some details and texturing for the arms, legs and tail to be done before the mouldings are made, but we are hoping to get the Marquette out by September.

Anyhow here are some images....
The quarter (25 cent piece ), in the first and last picture, next to the sculpt gives a reference for the scale.

The next update may have the final sculpt or may have the finished Marquette, it is always great to have a surprise.

Remember, these are cutting edge next generation dolls with titanium chassis and silica gel flesh (like in human prosthetics for that real flesh type feel), so a Simulants made doll, custom or conventional is the next step in the mechanical evolution of doll tech, AI is nice, but feel and performance is the goal with this line.
