Yes, you can

The color of the base is lighter than most skin tones so it will be off a little but it makes posing so fun. I'm sure someone has those McGuyver skills to paint them to match, I sure as hell don't

I don't think it gets much more adorable than this...

BTW, the outside of the eyelids can painted with acrylic craft paint to look like eye shadow or to match the doll's skin.
Craft stores like Michaels, Joann Fabric or Hobby Lobby carry all kinds of craft paint.
It comes in little 2oz squeeze bottles and is really cheap.

MannequinFan Is the real deal and quite the inventor, artist, designer and engineer! He truly enjoys bringing happiness, fulfilling dreams and wishes for his fellow doll cohorts.

He has several other applications for other dolls including heels (for smaller dolls) as well as these unique lids and eye packages. I can't over recommend him and every doll should have his upgrades!

great looking , enhances the doll alot , i like the closable eye lids , i had sent an idea like this before to a manufacturer of dolls but they hadn't came out with it. don't know if they decided not to or didn't have time for the project. anyway am glad to see someone made it.

Greetings Billy - Thanks for the write up and pics. When this got bumped earlier in the week with your new pics, it convinced me to order a kit as well, along with a stand. Nikki is anxiously awaiting her new look!
