Pubic Hair: how to (tutorial)

Hello,

I didn't find another tutorial of this type here, so i decide to share my experience concerning this subject
I am the owner of a Mechadoll which i bought in a very bad shape one year ago, and i spent many hours the last past months to restaure and rebuild her in order to give her a new life. I have now some experience concerning silicone repairs as i have exprimented lots of good tricks to improve silicone dolls. Amoung these tricks i have found on a special effects forum how to implant hair on head's silicone or latex puppets, and it is so simple that i decided to try by my own on my doll... but not for head's hair

All we need for this operation is some acrylic hair from a wig (or a piece of wig) of the color of your choice + a sewing needle + a bottle cap to plant the needle into silicone skin and make it easy to work with.

Important: before starting, you first have to cut the eye of the needle at its middle with pliers in order to get this:


Then, you take a bunch of hair in one hand, present the bunch in front of the pubic area very close to the skin, and with the other hand you simply gently tap the needle through the hair. Doing so, some hair will of course beeing trapped into the fork of the needle and beeing implanted into the silicone. Continue until you think you get the volume, size and form of your choice. After that, all you have to do is to use little scissors to cut the hair to the final lenght of your choice.

I personaly wanted a readhead girl, that's why i chose this color but of course it is up to you for other pubic colors and forms

Instead of using a broken sewing needle, many craft suppliers carry rooting needles specifically designed for hair implantation. In fact, I believe Stacy used one along with brushed out clumps of wig hair to create pubes on one of her RealDolls. And I have to admit, one of the main reasons I was disappointed that things didn't work out with my Ruby was that I was really looking forward to giving her a nice, fluffy bush...and perhaps even matching tufts under her arms. Don even gave me the leftover silicone from the bottom of the bucket to use for practice. Oh well...

Would this work on a tpe doll (Terri) would love some pubic hair on mine.
