new doll

Post by timetraveler1 »

well i am like others and truly hope this doll gets created on the doll market of course even with out the extra things added on if this doll can be created durable on outter and inner material that would be a great leap forward and if the delivery times were quick , etc. the doll would outsell others depending on cost of course to , but that all is "if " . :)

Throwing my hat in the Doll Building ring.........

Post by jleedee »

Wow!!!!

I really like what I see. Makes me look for my check book.

One question though: The piuctures towards the end llook like inner-workings of a robotized doll. What are we seeing?

Keep us up to date with your progress, and don't try to please all the critics. What I see so far looks great.

Howdy people,

Just to let everyone know, Mr. Mark Alfrey has once again come through for me in creating a female head sculpt. The face is based on the actress Anne Hathaway. It will be the first five pics that you'll see. I am completely satisfied with the work he has done. He really got this down to a point!

Let me know what you guys think. :D

Wow wow wow wow...

That is a beautiful and subtle piece of work! Very smart to hire a pro like Alfrey.

You may want to start a new thread for your new head

I think a lot of people may have missed it.

With what I see it would seem to me like he is basically skinning an android to simulate a female. Whoever mentioned less that 5-7k is probably insane. For what it looks like he will be offering 50-70k would be relatively cheap.

Uh, try $188,000.00 to have that android body built. You won't see that option for sale anytime soon. :? It's definitely a direction that I want to pursue, but it's not gonna happen today and tomorrow doesn't look any better.

Hmsd, you better hang on that house and bridge, it's not a 'sellers' market just yet.

Mr. Alfrey will have the head molds ready to ship by Tuesday. I'll see if I can't get a complete body and head made to see what this ol' gal will look like.

Just wondering how this project is coming along... long time no update, hope it hasn't gone belly-up. Thats a wonderful sculpt you've got (wouldn't expect any less from Mark), I'd hate to see it go to waste! Sounds like some great ideas on the skeleton and skin materials too... let us know whats up! :D
