Making a new doll from an old dio shii inflatable.

Here is what I have so far.
I took this

I am also getting some old soda bottles for the the knee, hip, and shoulder joints. I will keep all posted.
I have a torso that is very soft foam. All my parts will go into that.

Purchesed on aliexpress type articulated manniquin arms into your google search bar and plenty of hits will come up. I paid 36 bucks. They are abs plastic. They have shipped and will be here soon. I do hope these are nice enough to use how I want. I'm making jointed legs as well. The feet are the dio shi feet from the original doll. I opened them . They were stuffed with polyfil.

I am using sody bottles for the joints of my doll. I should finish a rough draft of the knee joint tonight.
Thanks for looking in on my project. Looking to keep it under 200 bucks.

I need those arms!! Could be modified for legs too...Always have been leary of Aliexpress, guess they can be trusted then!??! lots of nice stuff there!

Thank you thank you. I would trust them for things like arms.
Not so much for full dolls or expensive stuff. I post which seller I baught them ftom, when I recieve them.

Her torso and body will be a base of clear plastic. I am not sure I will coat it afterward. All the materials thus far are recycled except for the arms and legs. I may make the torso out of cardboard too. All recycled either way.

Indeed. One legs is almost rady tobbe completed. The front side of the torso is finished also. I have beenvworking since I posted those leg photos earlier. And still have a little ways to go
