Potential improvement on doll weight & skin?
Re: Potential improvement on doll weight & skin?
I admit I don't know much about fiberglass,I just figured it'd be cheaper than carbon fiber:p
I'll look it up:)
Yup,I assumed correctly-

I tried to post while ago, but seems can not be approved.
So, I write one by one this time.
DS Doll has a small body like 100cm, and its skeleton is very interesting.
However, plastic skeleton may have a problem with TPE.

if it is a good idea , get a patentDrMetal wrote:
I actually has an idea for the heating system, but I have to think it more thoroughly before I present it.
Dolls are more or less equivalent nowadays, an efficient heating system will make the difference
Unfortunately I suppose that weight reduction is not a consistent target with an efficient heating system
Also probably TPE is not the most suitable material for that
To have a real advantage over thermal blankets you should store a great amount of heat inside the doll in order to create a gradient of temperature from the inner body to the skin
I made a computer simulation time ago, apparently the cooling time increases a lot
if so you can not stuff the body with light infiammable material
