I posted the wrong pictures for baby oil, I posted gel pictures while the verbiage states oil not gel...

I'm a big fan of coconut oil and grape seed oil. Would they be an acceptable replacement for baby oil?????

Below is why Diaper Wipes is not a good thing!

There are so many dolls damaged at the private area ( dry, porous and cracked TPE) because of the usage of these baby wipes.
And afterwards they are wondering, why the TPE starts to tear.

Some baby wipes have alcohol inside (harms TPE, causes irreparable micro-cuts), and baby wipes declared as "alcohol free" are comming with ether and / or dimeticone (silicone oil) inside the "good sounding" ingredients.
All that information can be found via google.
My knowledge is no secret.
The TPE harming effect starts because of the wiping above the TPE surface and therewith you are rubbing the ingredients into the surface.

For washing the doll, a soft sponge is better.
Use a bucket to squeeze out the soft sponge.

My method of cleaning TPE is as such.
I start by lightly oiling my doll, then with a warm damp washcloth I slowly and gently wipe things down in one direction, the dirt will come off with the oil, the old powder and lint will collect at the end of the wipe stroke.
Careful wiping will remove the old powder and lint that collects.
Rinsing the washcloth often in hot water.
The doll gets cleaned and oiled at the same time.
Let dry/soak in and powder.

Grape seed oil is an interesting idea. I actually cook my stir-fry with grape seed oil since it doesn't better at high temperatures. If you decide to try it, test it on a small part of the doll like bottom of the foot & let us know how it goes.
