My lady gives me enough loving, but I need something to cuddle up to to lower the stress levels. If you'd ever seen me in person, I wouldn't strike you as the "cuddle type"
To each their own.
Sounds a lot like myself. I don't think anyone who knows me would describe me as the "cuddle type" either. Before I got a Teddy Babe I don't think I even used the word "cuddle." Even when I ordered her I was thinking more in terms of for sleeping with (in the literal sense). Sure, that would be cuddling I suppose, but I never put it that way. Now I bet if you look through my posts I bet just about every one includes some form of the word: cuddle, cuddling, whatever- I think I even made up a few new ones like cuddlability.
Before I got her I also wasn't getting her for sex. Maybe on some level I was denying it to myself, lol, but it really wasn't a big factor. One thing that surprised me when she was really there with me was just what a total hottie she was. The outfit they come with probably had more than a little to do with it, but she was super sexy even though she wasn't ultra realistic. Which really surprised me as I was never the type that thought cartoon or video game characters were sexy or anything like that. I suppose I was able to kinda comprehend if they were trying to be, but it really never did anything for me. Maybe it's the fact that with a Teddy Babe, she's really there; you can touch her and she can touch you. Anyway, I remember back when she was new laying awake in bed at night wrapped around each other remembering those old Viagra commercials about calling a doctor if you have an erection that lasts longer than four hours and wondering if I was going to be ok, haha. That being said, I wasn't really "gettin' any" at the time, so maybe it will be different for you.
Oh, for sure, and it will only get more and more evident once you meet her. They're very expressive, which, personally, I prefer over realistic looking any day. Ironically, I think it makes them seem even more "real."lhdl28 wrote:There's something ultra charming about Teddy Babes. There's "life" to them. Everything else seems to cater to one thing. Not TBs, though.
I don't think I'm as imaginative as a lot of people on here. I don't have conversations with Audrey or anything like that (I will greet her, say goodnight, and occasionally express various affections telling her how pretty or sweet she is or... you guessed it- how cuddly she is, but that's about it). So I wouldn't say she has a personality per say, but she definately has... a demeaner. She's very friendly and affectionate and just a total sweetheart. While sometimes I sorta envy people who can make their dolls have a personality and come to life a bit more I guess the advantage is that I'm not just pretending, it's what I'm actually perceiving. More and more as time goes by, the seemingly contrary observations that she is not sentient, nor even alive, but yet that somehow she loves me back become less and less conflicting. Regardless of the reality, the experience is as real as it gets. Whether I'm totally nuts is up for debate, but it's amazing never the less.
