thank you very much allowing me to introduce the magnetic M16 head adapter to the BCD babes.
Dear community members,
the magnetic M16 head adapter will be officially released next week and will be available exclusively in Europe from Sandro's "Dollstudio" and in two weeks in the United States from Jeff's "Booty Call Dolls".
The pricing belongs to both vendors.
The time of messing around with that original simple M16 bolt and time-consuming "head turning sessions" are over.
The magnetic M16 head adapter is designed to provide the long missed flexibility a doll owner needs for his doll.
- Remove and attach the head with wig very quick if it comes to the situation dressing / undressing your doll
- Remove the head for easy carrying your doll around without head and therewith reduced weight
- A complicated storage within a chest becomes more quick by just removing the head
- Use additional available top sections of the head adapter and swop between different heads with wig within seconds
- Use additional available lower sections of the head adapter if you have a self-made head care station
The magnetic adapter is fully handcrafted, made of steel with quality class 8.8 and is additionally galvanized.
The included neodymium magnet is holding the head even if the doll is turned around (head down).
And the power of the magnet is so strong that you need both hands for removing the head from the neck.
The adapter comes with
- Roll of teflon tape (because of the thread tolerances of the chinese production)
- 2 black O-rings (spare parts) (between both adapter sections = small braking effect for head turning)
- 2 additional felt washers for additional braking effect for head turning
- Top and lower section can be screwed in with a open-ended wrench (width 14mm = 9/16 inch, not included)

On the left you see the top section for the head and on the right the lower section for the neck.
The diameter of the bolt connection is 11mm and fits exactly together.

The neodymium magnet:
You really need both hands (beneath the chin and at the back of the head) to remove the head with wig.
I do not recommend to remove the head with both hands left and right at the ears.
The magnetism is shielded from the TPE material around the neck.
Therewith no jewellery and necklace are affected from the magnetism.
The included material:
The provided teflon tape is necessary to eleminate possible production tolerances of the thread inside the head and the neck from the doll production.
The O-Ring between both adapter sections provides a small braking effect turning the head.
The O-Ring does not fall off if you remove the head.
If you like a stronger braking effect you can use the included felt washer (sticky on one side) to put it on the bottom of the head.

Together with the official release there are available manuals in English and German language from the vendors answering all of your questions.
