Ever wonder what it would look like to put the head from a 100cm doll on one of our full size bodies? Usually we tell people, “Well, you can, but it looks a little weird…”

And let’s say you’re curious what it might look like to put one of the full size heads on the scaled-down 100cm body? We’ll tell you – “The neck connector works but it is going to look a bit off…”

Well you can wonder no more! We took this helpful photo to answer the question “Will it fit?” once and for all. The answer is YES! But…

Our 100cm and our full size doll bodies use the same size connection for the heads – it’s a threaded bolt that screws into the base of the neck, and from there, to the base of the head. Since the connecting bolt is the same size, you can attach a 100cm head to a full-size body, and vice versa. But as you can see, since the body types are scaled so differently, the appearance is not totally correct. We won’t say that it’s wrong – everybody has their own tastes, and that’s what makes us individuals! But we will say that it’s not 100% right, in a purely mathematical way.

There you have it! Proof that small heads and big bodies kind of work, sort of. And vice-versa.

Well, here is yet one more opportunity to suggest this (have inserted this thought in many threads). While these picture comparisons are convincing, they can't answer all the possible head/body combinations out there that many may be interested in. IMHO, providing the head circumference dimensions along with all the other statistical information on a doll, would go a long way in answering many people's questions of a possible head/body combination. Currently, it is very difficult to get that information from sellers.
