Nice job on capturing the Jolie face.

Absolutely beautiful.

The original game version of Lara looks nothing like Jolie really.
She was created based on the model Megan Farquhar not Jolie, so it's not really a copy or look alike of the game franchise character.

My only concern would be in using Jolie's likeness without permission for the doll. It's a pretty darn close - almost unmistakable likeness.
I'm sure a lot of doll companies have been itching to do this but have shied away for this reason.

This is croft's original look.
I remember playing the games and when the movies came out I thought jolie was a good match.
The second version of croft posted, looks nothing like jolie.(and i like better)
I think the original version is what RLSD was going for.
Which, IMHO they nailed it.

The very first inspiration for the original Lara look was actually singer Neneh Cherry.
That was before the current technology that allows for almost photographic realism.

The faces have some similar qualities, but IMO the doll face is clearly intended to look like Jolie.
I think most people associate her with the character more than anything else.

These kinds of characters fit the WM bodies perfectly!

Cool to see the head match the original Lara Croft rather than the modernized/rebooted versions. It's much more iconic, if that's the correct word for it, and certainly more badass than the kid we play as today.

This may be the doll that convinces my best friend to get one. I told him about my doll, and he did not criticize or approve. He knows my situation, and marvels that I have stayed this long.
This is going to be a tough doll to wait and save for. It will be years before I have other things (non doll related) done, but it will be worth it.
Amazing job on this iconic character!
