Hi all.

I'm a guy in my late 30s living in Sydney, Australia.

Even though I don't watch anything anymore, I have a fairly heavy background in anime fandom and consider myself to have a 2D complex. My username here is an oblique reference to an anime which also features a love doll...

I currently own a 158cm fabric doll fashioned to look like Hatsune Miku. My first post to the forum from some time ago mentions some of my history with her.

I'm starting to look into upgrading to TPE or silicone, and as such, I read the forum a lot to find out about new things, even though I don't really post. My second doll was supposed to be a WM 153cm but things are happening which prevents her getting to me.

Hopefully when this living hell is over I'll be able to post more.

Yeah. I got the scary seizure notice yesterday. Spent half of last night stressing about what to do, the other half reading that UK thread a lot to try and see whether anything in there is usable for my situation.

I can't say I have a lot of confidence at this point. We're talking about a situation where some random officer's subjective opinion can override my provided photographs.

I'm extra annoyed because I deliberately ordered a body with larger boobs than I wanted, only to have them presumably not like the face. What do you do if all faces you consider attractive are considered objectionable by the people "protecting" your country's borders from "evil"? I was even going to drop into 4Woods' showroom in March, but if an import is going to be arbitrarily blocked like this, I can't confidently buy a multi-thousand-dollar doll that might just disappear.

Finding local resellers who don't ship directly from overseas could be one way to deal with this sort of problem, but being Australia with our tiny population, there is barely anybody doing that business. Even our local 4Woods reseller, Fantasy Doll, is completely useless at replying to email, and 4Woods Japan even say on their site that we should go through the reseller.
