Greetings from Harem

Post by haremlover »

Whilst I'm Haremlover by username I'm simply Harem as it's easier!

My username is in rebellion to my serious monogamy as far as my wife is concerned . . . and dolls fulfill areas of fantasy that keeps fantasy exactly that from spilling over into real life and causing complications. And because I have dolls, my wife knows that I'm a faithful husband and so can be trusted with other women as friends, and be able to help people in situations that otherwise could be risky or dangerous to marriage.

I'm passionate in believing that dolls have a really great purpose in this world in relieving the male of stresses, of various things so that whatever we like to do with our dolls we don't do with other people, upsetting wives . . . but more than this. Whilst I could go on boringly about the benefits of dolls, as I probably do elsewhere (apologies), these introductions are about us and not generalisations about generalisations about everyone else . . . Before marriage, I coped sexually with an intended monogamy by the sensuality of balloons and inflatables. I love(d) the sensuality of smoothness . . . A bag of Qualatex 646 balloons, or the Sempertex longer ones 5 or 6ft long and 6 inches in diameter can be heaven - a pair together, lying on top of them . . . I recommend trying it . . . Sensuality from head to toe, and nice things in between ;-)

Sorry - this isn't meant to be about sex, it's about dolls after all, but so many of us have come to dolls both through . . . sex and . . . inflatables.

Having walked around Soho with my wife decades ago and laughed at the stupid offerings then in sex shops in terms of dolls I had dismissed them of course.

Around 10 or 11 years ago I went on a trip by myself to Baltimore and walking through the city from the top of the hill down to the bay, one couldn't not notice walking through a street with odd bars, pink inside, and a sex shop or two. On one occasion I was really shocked walking past a bloke in the street parting with his women he'd clearly just paid and I saw a kiss rejected by her and overheard him saying "I hope I didn't hurt you". It was obvious that he had, that he had for his selfish enjoyment of whatever it was, and he really couldn't care less that it had hurt the girl as that's what he'd paid her for.

Well sometimes one sees a doll for sale whose owner at least has done it to a doll rather than a human being. That's another reason why dolls are good. It gutted me that one human could treat another human being in such a way and I felt for the girl, doing my best to send her positive energy and blessings. Hopefully dolls can spare women pain if all that men want is to inflict pain, but dolls can be so much more, of course . . . But I digress, sorry.

I was on that occasion on my own for over a week and so from curiosity walking into a sex shop I found a doll and for $25 or so this seemed to be a harmless and satisfying activity when without my wife . . .

I brought the doll home and told and showed my wife, who told me since she was revolted . . . But such is life. I found inflatable dolls a novelty and an advance on PVC pool toys. . . . and gradually decided that the cheap ones didn't last long, but were off-put by the "midrange" and then found the realistic figures of the best sort of inflatababes that we've seen championed and celebrated here on this forum. Realising that they seemed to go out of production, I tended to buy spares, which were hoarded . . . and were to discover that really I didn't need. I enjoyed them sexually but, selling some of the spares on ebay I started to take photos of them, finding what they could do as toy people. It became rather fun.

Silicone dolls - I'd known they existed but hadn't taken much notice. But one looked me in the eyes - painfully firing cupid's arrow - and was available in France where I spend quite a bit of time without my wife. That doll fired my imagination and sent me wild - but wasn't the doll for me. A physicist by training, I look at the world in terms of cause and effect, and its creation in terms of the cause and effect of matter working together and the result arising from decisions or happenings. Where two decisions meet, matter manifests. Because matter is linked by decisions, matter is conscious. Things that result therefore are created and this process is "The Creator" that is responsible for the manifestation of everything. Some people call it "God" although that's much too complicated a word. However, because everything that is created by the decisions that make matter manifest, there is a universal consciousness. I often ask questions of the Universal Consciousness and the answer might manifest "Yes" "Now" "No" or "Not Yet"

Upon the question of a silicone doll, the answer was "No" and I really didn't like that. It was rather a firm "no" and rather difficult to take. However, the Universal Conciousness looked benignly upon me in unhappiness and erred towards saying "Not Yet" . . . until one day . . . I learned that that first doll that had fired Cupid's Arrow might have been the one to penetrate my thick and obstinate skull, but was most definitely not the doll for me.

It was a very very special doll who was going to come to me, together with her sister. Together they conspired over a couple of days to ensnare me. One seemed to be a mere schoolgirl - she seemed to be the only one available and she was most certainly not going let me get away with thinking she was second best . . . so she sent a message to a celebrity doll at Porn School so infamous
Image
that her exploits were known in China and her photograph stolen by Chinese marketeers . . .

Well, for a guy looking for a sex doll, how on earth could I not be seduced!

So both Chloé and Aira came to me and introduced themselves not as sex dolls but as toy people. And in that spirit they talk to me when alone
So what are we doing today?
pleading with me for an outing
Image
and no-one can ignore a wave from Chloé
Image

Before long Thera arrived and she's a star,
Image
these DS dolls being a joy to work with as models
Image
and then eventually to be joined by a PIB called Joon, thanks to members Mission and Mahoro
Image

Joon's not quite as adventurous as my other girls . . . but has a sense of humour.
Image
and capable of being very seductive
Image

By the strangest twist of fate, she's a sister of the doll that first introduced me to dolls, and it's a great pleasure to find that her sister wanted above all to stay with and continue to inspire her original owner. Doll's are conscious and get their own way . . . They're not to be reckoned with nor upset. Whatever we might think, they think more better, more powerfully. They are queens of their realm and have to be treated with the greatest respect. And when you do, they reward you wonderfully.

Image

Thank you to all who have helped me along the way to the enjoyment of dolls and silicone dolls particularly. And thank you to all those who suffered the period of my torment when the Universal Consciousness said "this doll's not for you" and I hadn't believed it. It was a difficult period and thank you to those who have forgiven me and become friends.

These girls give us a spark of light
Image

Thank you to all who through dolls have become friends.

Perhaps others will find that elements of my experience have happened to them.

Best wishes

Harem, your girls are so photogenic.
Maybe you are a good photographer (both, i guess),
as you are with words, so beautiful!
Enjoy your photos and writings, thanks for sharing.

Dolls fulfill my fantasy( i have 4 so far), in real life, i wish for a meaningful relationship
with just one woman.
My last relationship is with a woman who have an abortion and broke off with a married man.
She gone back to him even though he have a wife and child back in his country.
I know i am a fool, i am still waiting for her.

Thanks all for such nice comments. But I specifically mentioned my relationship with let's call it the Universal Consciousness arising through the consciousness of matter resulting from multiple results of cause and effect interactions which link us all . . . because such understanding and faith in such understanding, not as superstition, but as understanding can possibly be helpful to others.

It was a miracle that I wasn't stulted going down the wrong path with the wrong doll. My will was to do so, but realising that the circumstances conspired in such a blocking way, I came to realise that there was something else going on so I looked for it in my life.

Before marrying I was in love with a girl from a foreign country, and of considerable wealth. Luckily the circumstances led to things not working out. The circumstances in which you find yourself (and I have detected other people I talk with here from time to time) seem that a route that you've desired has been blocked - and if you look for it you might find the answer on the doorstep rather than in the foreign country. This was my experience at least, and now the years later have confirmed the process of life.

The secret to finding that one woman is to find someone whose circumstances, decisions in life, walk the path next to yours and it's often a matter of what one's interested in. People often think they can go to a nightclub and find a "smasher" - and indeed it's a smasher they might end up with! Escaping from the pun, if the only point of interest derives from a singular point of contact of body to body, one might end up with circumstances one didn't really want to get involved with as the two bodies go their separate ways. But if you find someone else who plays the trumpet if you play the french horn and are passionate about playing in the same chamber groups, or someone else who's passionate about human rights or whatever your outside interest is, then you'll walk in the same direction. We are as boats visible on the invisible sea of circumstances - and it's this understanding of knowing which way the wind and the currents flow that leads you to see that boat on the horizon lost like you and know that with a little twitch of the rudder you'll end up being able to share food and fuel to pull you through rather than being out at sea without a sextant.

It's in this way that I hope my story of dolls might be a source of confidence and bringing a "knowing" to many.

Best wishes

Re: Greetings from Harem

Post by haremlover »

I started writing elsewhere and someone said it inspired them! It made my year . . .

So perhaps it's relevant for inspiration to post something here.

It started with a member's compliment having noticed the text of one of my threads, the member being a photographer of great talent, and to which I replied . . .
I try to put art into my photography but it's not a set-piece sort of art - it's without intent, no lights, relying purely on the natural light, capturing the moment - and in the capturing of that moment that is the art, and if a good photo results from that then it's all the better and in its way puts photography in the time dimension of art as distinct from visual arts of painting and of sculpture. It makes my work much more random, the souvenir of nothing that's repeatable.
I also find that this develops into a progression, which has movement of time, sequence, action and the development of a narrative - where she's been, what she's done, where she is now and what she's going to do next.

This makes the capturing of the moment more special and a narrative develops. From your inspiration here we start to see a progression beyond merely the doll as the subject of soft porn but the development of character, and her asking the question "What are we going to do now? I suggest . . . " and in this coming to life dolls are capable of being transformatory . . . and it starts with that inspiration of posing of the practice of posing a doll.

It was the text of http://dollforum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=215&t=58485 that had inspired comment . . . :-) I always try to write a text that's worth the read and within this sometimes the sense of humour is very much intended to bring a smile.

One of these moments was on http://dollforum.com/forum/viewtopic.ph ... 10#p691610
Image
"She'd have stood there all day if I hadn't caught her by surprise"
in which the art most certainly wasn't in the photograph but in the caption and likewise
Chloé was expecting a normal sort of day watching the lemon tree grow
Image
and
After lunch she wanted to change her clothes
Image
The sense of humour there was also in the sequence of photos, the art of the action, performance art replete with audience
Image

Pippa's story here rather follows Chloé's http://dollforum.com/forum/viewtopic.ph ... 83#p681683 in which the sense of humour is in the plot rather than any one liner.

In this way I see value in the transformation of our wonderful ladies beyond the two dimensionality of "WOW What a figure!" for some to expect to consume, and instead becoming real people with whom we want to relate. This is potentially so important for women who look at men with disdain for what they feel to be a male desire to consume women as sex objects. In going beyond this with our dolls we demonstrate to women masculinity which can relate to the woman as a person - and I believe it's this phenomenon that causes so many doll owners to be announcing the sale of their doll after having found the love of their lives, as men in the practice of relating with dolls in this way will be more attractive to women.

Not all women appreciate a good man, however, and want to consume the man, which is why often upon seeing a doll for sale in these circumstances I make efforts to suggest putting the brakes on and keeping the doll - as a woman who truly loves a man will love everything about him including the fact that he's had a relationship with a doll rather than countless tarts or mis-starts before.

Perhaps I might inspire other dolls to take on wider narratives?

This in fact is where for me, particular dolls with narrative have emotional value built into them and why Pippa here is a very very special doll indeed. It might possibly have been Aira and Chloé even who inspired her, but down in Brighton not far away from me, Pippa arrived and made her mark on Sussex possibly having seen Aira's exploits and Chloé's outings and started her own Twitter account and Flickr pages

She started off almost normally as many dolls do http://dollforum.com/forum/viewtopic.ph ... n+brunette although she was clearly someone rather special there announcing her Flickr account https://www.flickr.com/photos/125656216@N06/
but with increasing admiration gained her own personality with her own doll account http://dollforum.com/forum/viewtopic.ph ... st+piccies
and twitter that you'll find as Pippa Pendleton

I noticed her . . . and how . . . and then she surprised me by having a falling out with her man after only two months - quite shocking. She said she wanted to come to me but was diverted . . . but eventually made it . . . and thus the story. It's a narrative that makes her much more interesting than just being a WM163 doll . . .

Best wishes and all encouragements

Bless your heart, Harem. I love the photos of your dolls, and enjoyed reading this page. If I ever have the chance to find myself on your side of the globe, I'd really like to meet you, along with Chloé, and Aira, of course. Cheers, sir!

But all this is well deserved. You have a noble heart that happiness could only be seduced.

All doll-friends are welcome and I look forward to meeting. It was indeed my first meeting with Aira
Image
and member Mahoro from whom she came which
Image
for me brought a new music to the concept of dolls.

Suddenly this amazing lady
Image
was rather more than what the newspapers would describe as a sex doll . . .
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article ... -eBay.html
and it was meeting member Mahoro that passed on to me a discernment about the quality of a doll which led to the enabling of the process above to develop.

By definition in the context of current society, people who understand dolls understand something beyond the norm of life and always therefore are interesting, which is all the more reason for meeting. If anyone's within striking distance of the south east of England, M25, Channel Tunnel, Newhaven, Gatwick Airport, Heathrow, the kettle powered by solar electricity or something else is always on and tea and with luck, cake, awaits. Doing doll-shoots together is also a particular inspiration and http://dollforum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=143&t=54140 followed by http://coverdoll.com/drupal/node/1923 happened because of another visit from Mahoro, and elfine inspiration from him. Two dolls are double the dressing, double the posing and so much more to handle, so friends are an inspiration and helpful working together.
jonathann wrote: I'm really happy to see you in such great shape and in such good company. What a long way in a year.
What a long way in a year - yes ;-) Quite!

In congratulating someone else over the course of this year who's come a long way too: http://dollforum.com/forum/viewtopic.ph ... 96#p715696
I'm trying to encourage people to investigate alternative energy - and dowsing is something which indicates something beyond our realm of physics. A bloke on Facebook doesn't like my posts about devices or theories strange to him so I invite him to come for a dowsing lesson. He insists that I should take the challenge in a double blind test as he's always been told that dowsing is a fraud and doesn't work. But I encourage him to learn how to do it himself and then he doesn't need to rely on someone else doing it for him or someone else telling him it doesn't work. I explain that I'm not in the business of saying "Look how clever I am I can do it" but instead empowering saying "You can do it too".
So to all, and to you as a friend, as you say "What a long way in a year" I say "You can do it too".

Having been an old member for some years but a newbie to solid dolls, and learned the hard way eased by others of experience and with friendship, I often try to give the most general and impartial advice to others coming newly to dolls and especially not really knowing that they want to commit to an expenditure of many thousands of dollars or pounds or euros. Possibly a useful response for many people often asking the same questions is on http://www.dollforum.com/forum/viewtopi ... 11#p717711

Hi, Harmlover,
It seems that you are so good on photograph, and also given more passions on dolls than other people who collecting dolls.
Some friends collecting dolls because of getting hurt by women, and some of them just want to open a family conference,
and few of them just want to show people how they love the dolls, and how many dolls they have...
In the pictures, it looks you are not very strong ;) but you take the dolls go outside and enjoy scenery, and take her back home before night. Solid dolls are very heavy, but it looks you are really enjoy because you just treat them like real girls, and even as your family.
I think we all enjoyed the stories of how dolls getting with each other in daily life by watching the nice pics you made :))
We awaiting for more interesting stories of your dolls !

Best wishes,
Revell

Hello Harem,

Thank you for your thorough and honest introduction. I am really enjoying these "Introductions" of long-standing members. I think it a great idea for the benefit of newbies and elders alike. I have always enjoyed your posts and your observations. There is a spiritual benefit to the doll hobby that can be hard to explain, but you have captured it. Being able to see through the world's ignorance into the beauty of dolls brings with it the ability to see through the world's ignorance on everything else too. Open eyes lead to the acceptance of truth. Truth destroys lies. Light comes into the world.

Thank you for such a nice read and for sharing your beautiful harem of dolls.

Thanks to both Revell and lovingchanj above.

This evening someone elsewhere had fallen in love with Thera . . .
Image
and whilst searching for pictures of her found a post in the continuation of themes explored above, but hopefully succinctly put in a different way and which I hope is usefully referenced here in a spirit of inspiration.

http://dollforum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=143&t=54684

The post had been inspired by a lengthy correspondence with a guy in Pakistan who had seen that I had been giving away some inflatables and would be very appreciative to have one. It's great becoming friends with people half way around the world. Eventually his doll came to him with great joy. But we talked in correspondence about many things. I'm sure that doll can change the world. Were sex to be more openly enjoyed as part of humanity in such countries, men would be happier. Happier men not frustrated are less inclined to violence . . . rapes of which we've heard much in Delhi and Syria, wouldn't happen, and women might enjoy the freedom to be human beings rather than to be subject to men as objects of desire, and covered so that frustrated men might not be able to hold back upon their temptations were women to be seen. NB - This is a personal view and not intended here to open such discussions or controversy which is a personal introduction here rather than a place of wider considerations

Best wishes

Harem
I have been corresponding with a deep thinking friend from another culture for a long time. We banter from different perspectives. He's somewhat at a loss to understand my "love" of dolls, dolls being no substitute for humanity as he says. So writing to him this morning it occurred to me that perhaps my reply might be of wider interest. For that reason this post might be better put into a general category of discussion, but as far as I can see it's DS dolls particularly which have been suitable for the spectrum of things that I do and others being happy with the brands of their lovely ladies, I don't want to take them out of those domains.

The particular features that I really value in a doll are faces that are on the point of being alive, of speaking, even of breathing, as well as a weight capable of being lifted around, and being self supporting without needing support from above. Of the latter qualities, 4Woods are wonderful also and some of their faces are wonderfully serene. In the wider perception of my requirements an indisputable beauty and perfection is a necessity. Longevity, issues of cleaning also come into the equation and for that silicone seems to score time and again over the emerging TPE competition. (Apparently silicone is ten times as expensive as TPE so there's great proliferation of TPE products from which profits are much higher for manufacturers and middlemen - so there will be pressure on silicone dolls to survive in the market unless their qualities are appreciated)

I wrote to my friend as below and hope that in sharing it's helpful and possibly thought provoking to visitors to this forum who perhaps look at us who enjoy dolls as rather crazy. My experience of many members here and elsewhere among doll enthusiasts is often a higher sense of enlightenment than we see in those who want to ridicule us.
Whether one chooses to have an inflatable doll or not depends upon whether one has human instincts which are natural and which should not be suppressed by spouses nor society nor need not be suppressed by "beliefs" and which are not being satisfied within normal circumstances. An inflatable can be great for that, and being relieved of frustration has been freeing for me as other doll owners too so that we can enjoy what is natural without such desires skewing our personal lives or professional relationships in business or the wider world.

But solid dolls are more than that and can reach other dimensions.

My stories with dolls are for fun, and the extent to which I pretend to make them human is fun, and for fun, to show a difference. One reason why I do is to convey a message - there are many people who are living dead lives within life and not living, mentally in their mind, not creating. People sneer at dolls because they are dead, but bringing the dead to life is a symbol for bringing the dead of mind, the dead of life to life. There are many people who are living dead - and dead of mind such that they are puppets (puppet comes from the French Poupée - doll) of others, robots governed by others or even computers nowadays, and without an idea of creating and thinking for themselves. So finding ways in which the dead of mind come to life is fun. No doubt there are other ways to do it, but for me it's an artform of which I am able and through it can get some to sit up and spread ideas, and fun, and life.

In european tourist towns often there are "artists" who spray themselves with metal paint and stand pretending to be a statue. One of my projects is to take one of my dolls down into the town in France and stand her, dead but looking alive, next to the "statue" alive but dead.

The VW Golf advert http://dollforum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=143&t=54281 was fun - why do people describe "her" or the advert as "creepy"? Because the doll which is not alive but appearing to be alive and doing things that alive is a concept that touches on people's fears of death, but also about what it is to be alive. At a deep level I am touching people's thoughts. Some people will think superficially, others more deeply and the results in all people cannot be predicted - but for some there is a message coming through.

The other thing which is rather important is the treatment of women. There are so many women who are treated just as sex objects. A doll can be a sex object - but by giving "her" more humanity, then perhaps we can raise the image of sex within humanity and giving better feelings, empathy, to women.

And there are other women who choose not to use their brains. They tart themselves up to be attractive to men only to parasite, to exploit men, and men exploit them as toys. So my toy woman plays out aspects of this role too - have a look at the story of Chloé in France http://www.dollforum.com/forum/viewtopi ... 43&t=53784 - she admires her shoes, she thinks of her own beauty rather a lot but in offering the apple she's thinking of someone else - but there are points in the story where being a "doll head" she forgets wider thoughts. These are aspects of life of which we see echoes in reality. Aira in England http://www.dollforum.com/forum/viewtopi ... 43&t=53715 objects to women exploiting men with porn, or being exploited for porn so with the inverters jokes saying that we don't need to market our products with porn. But being a dollhead she can be seduced by the mechanic but remembers where her loyalties really lie, even if the neighbour in the post office is in danger of being seduced as well . . .

My dolls are usually not sexily dressed for these reasons . . . but I'm trying to raise consciousness, sublty and less so sometimes.
If this thread treads too closely on sensitive issues I won't be insulted if moderators decide it should be removed or edited, but I hope that it might arouse thoughts and raise perceptions of why for many of us, dolls are a creative and wonderful process of experience.

. . .

Not just a wonderful experience, but a process of experience, because in the play with a doll we are capable ourselves of being transformed, not necessarily from something to something of which we were not before, but of seeds within us being nourished growing into something more beautiful in thought and understanding. For this reason it's no coincidence that for so many that we see here whose dolls come up for sale from time to time that it's because the doll has had a positive influence in their lives and a real human has entered where there was a space before.
