At this point you might have noticed a couple of things.
The mk.2 version of the #1 head from Sanhui for the SH-16x line of dolls looks slightly different than the old variant.
One of the reasons for this is that the mk.2 version has moveable eyes. And the mechanics to make the eyes easily adjustable. That is a bummer. Doll Sweet is the only manufacturer offering something similar.
Next, the eyes are beautiful and complex. It's not just a simple eye color - these eyes sparkle, they have a certain 'depth', and, depending on the lightning, they seem more blue or more green. These eyes are amazing!
Let's add the head to the upgraded SH-165 Plus mk.2 body and take a look at some more pictures…

Enlarge the photos and have a look at the areas around the eyes. The skin surface has a texture, resembling pores!
Without special paying attentin to it, this new feature of the brand new mk.2 generation of Sanhui dolls can be easily uverseen. But subconsciously you will notice it. And you can feel the difference, too!

The mouth features upper and lower teeth. The teeth are molded in a different - a harder - silicone than the rest of the head. Other manufacturers like
Doll Sweet do it similarily. But Sanhui does it just right, with an unbelievable degree of precision. You can look as closely as you want, the teeth sit tight and are perfectly aligned in the mouth cavity.
Yes, this head also features a mouth cavity, not just a "hole" like certain other silicone manufacturers. The realism and the level of detail of this head is just breathtaking!

Obviously, the head also comes with a tongue by default. The tongue is quite long, compared to DS, but similarly loose so you can take it out.
Now let's have a look at the manufacturing quality of the base plate:

Again, it's precision work. It's clean, smoothly aligned and just well done. Compared to the manufacturing quality of other Chinese manufacturers, it's hard to believe that this head is
Made in China. Yeah, they can make excellent smartphones, and also they can make excellent silicone heads. This one definitely proves the amazing capabilites of Chinese craftsmen.

The camera just loves this girl like no other!
And no, the makeup doesn't rub off immediately when touching, and no, the eye lashes do not fall off by itself like autumn leaves.
This head just scores 100%. I looked closely,
very closely, and I couldn't find a single flaw.
If Sanhui keeps manufacturing quality and the level of detail shown in the head on the long run, they are not just closing up to
Doll Sweet - they rapidly go beyond and everything here says "world class". Especially the textures skin is a feature that will soon become the standard in silicone dolls - if you felt this, you will never go back to anything else.
This head is highly recommended. Even if I personally are not a huge fan of the style Sanhui applies the makeup into the corners of the mouth, I give this head a 9/10 rating. It is as good as it gets. You will have to look
very hard to find a head with a better combination of manufacturing quality, feature set, level of detail and realism, and affordability.
