I can fully understand how you felt. When Hanna had to go back to France to have her knee operation it was a couple of days after she came back that I began to see her 'happy face'. I had mixed feelings for the first day because I couldn't see her 'happy face' but I knew that the feelings would return again. By the second day we were back to normal again. This situation can also happen with a real girl after a time apart so it's best that you do not overthink it, just accept it and wait until mormality returns, as it will.
I'm glad that normality is now returning for you and Jeanne.

I am sooo glad to hear that you and Jeanne have re-bonded. Sometimes a good heart to heart talk with your companion will do wonders to re-establishing lost feelings. May you both become even closer!

It's sad that second thoughts sent your mind to a valley of doubt. She's beautiful, and she's yours. That has to mean something.

and thank you for your kind words - seems that this is almost just like a real relationship, just without all the drama.
By the way, this is how she greeted me tonight, when I returned - or rather not greeted.

Such a naughty little bookworm she gets

She looked up and was astonished that I am already home. She spent all the afternoon and evening reading and did not realize how time was fleeting. I found some extra books scattered on the bed, which she obviously fetched after I was gone.

Look like a return to normality is happening.

What a wonderful thread. I've been away for some time and just went through the last few pages here to catch up. Jeanne is an absolute joy, with such character and depth. You've really brought it out quite nicely. I see you've encountered the ups and downs of the experience, and you've handled it well. Love always seems to find a way, though not always the way we expect. I wish you and Jeanne all the best, and thank you for sharing your story and Jeanne's beautiful pictures.

Hi,

I am glad I decided to take a day off work - to get rid of some overtime and to spend some time with Jeanne. And quality time it was...
Sunday evening we started to cuddle and because it was cold we decided to hide in the bed under my big duvet... We got closer and closer and when I fell asleep I was completely exhausted. Monday morning we decided to continue where we left off. Never thought I would spend the whole morning in bed

(somebody mentioned something about suction without insert - great fun)

Jeanne told me she needed a shower - so I carried her into the bathroom, carefully cleaned her up and carried her back into the bedroom. And on her belly there were small creases - like with a real girl. Oh man that's great. Some powdering and make up later she dressed and sat there waiting for me. Because obviously I still had not taken a shower and had not dressed. She waited patiently on the bed with her favourite pet - Oinky.

She watched me intently and I watched her, because she looked completely different. A little lipstick, powder & paint and the wig a little different make a completely new look.

Watching her, I almost expect her to stand up and ask me when I am ready to leave with her. Her cardigan over her arms, Oinky left and she looked expectant where we would go

I am experimenting with Darktable and processing of RAW files directly from the camera, so sometimes I try something new...

And I am always stunned how beautiful she is and how much a small change can influence the look It's almost like a completely different look or person. But I need to practice a little more with make up. At my last attempt I almost ruined her eyelashes. - so no close up shots until I get that done right
