50% Weight Reduction
I was just wondering whether this was true or not and where people have heard this from. If it is true then that's fantastic news, although kind of makes me wish I'd held out a year or so on ordering my current doll.

It is needed.

Yep, most of the dolls I’m interested in would make my hemorrhoids explode.

My guess is The Osborne Effect. If I was a vendor or manufacturer, I would be very unhappy that my sales dried up because everyone decided to wait for the next generation of dolls.Dr Dollinger wrote:A topic about that is already removed?

Off topic but that is a perfect description of how video game software gets announced these days what with DLC and all that. As far as hardware goes though Sega takes the cake.ZZZZ wrote:My guess is The Osborne Effect. Sorry, who is "Sam"?haremlover wrote:I think it's possibly harder than anticipated as when I asked Sam about it he said it would be some time yet. So there's little point of holding off ordering waiting as you might be waiting quite a while.

Re: 50% Weight Reduction
Thanks, Harem. Is it fair to say that the head of WM would have a vested interest in people continuing to buy the older (heavy) dolls? If so, he might have good reason to overestimate the difficulty and expected time frame...haremlover wrote:Sam spearheads WM

Re: 50% Weight Reduction
I also believe it was said to be 30-50% reduced weight depending on model, so not necessarily cut in half.
If one already hava a doll and are looking to buy a new one, especially TPE in particular, I'd still recommend waiting until Q1 next year to see if they manage to release it or at least confirm the development, as it will make a big difference for many. WM are falling behind the competition with their skeleton and apparently still haven't even really fixed the vag-ball issue either, so they really need to update their dolls insides soon anyway. I'm certainly not buying another doll from them until they get this done.
For first-doll owners, I wouldn't care much about this rumor yet. You'll still gain a ton of experience with whatever you purchase and get a good idea of what weight you're comfortable with. The market is constantly evolving so you can't just sit and wait for the potential new stuff all the time, or else you'll never make the purchase

Also, new developments sometimes entail new issues. The dolls are a very good bang for the buck now.

Re: 50% Weight Reduction
Sam doesn't mislead me and I would be surprised if the weight reduction comes in sooner than he's led me to believe.
I wouldn't actually want the weight of the WM155 reduced. She's perfect as is. There are lots of WM dolls under 32kgs which are super toy ladies as is.

Re: 50% Weight Reduction
There're still customers like me who prefer some good weight for their dolls as a matter of realism. When coming to play time I wanna pretend I'm doing it with an actual woman who gives me some resistance in weight. Bouncing her off my bed with my first push due to her light weight would totally kill this impression
Re: 50% Weight Reduction
I have found that having to hold her in place is somewhat annoying as well. Albeit, I've developed methods, but your viewpoint is understandable.FullHouse wrote:I hope the manufactures will produce light versions as an option like soft skin, loose joints, hollow breasts etc.
