Decisions, new user could use some pointers

Hello there,

Introduction

i've been lurking for a while on the forums and i think it's about time to make some decisions. I've read so much these last days that i might be a bit overwhelmed, that why i'm making this post where i can find all my questions and corresponding answers without the '25+ browser tabs horror' that i've gone trough these last days.

I'm 46 year old male from Belgium, been single for over a decade with a fling now and then. According to my best friend, who i used to date, i shouldn't hesitate to buy a doll. She's knows me and my problem when it comes to girls: introvert, self-conscious, shy, loner, not a people person, and most of all easy to take advantage off. Plus i hate loud bedroom girls

Lately the only sexual experiences i have are with escort girls who satisfy me, but there's a void. They are gone in an hour and there's no real cuddling before/after. GF experience or not, they're acting and it's expensive because my libido is high

So here's my monologue, i hope i'm not overdoing it for a first post but i have a lot of decisions to make. Also i would like to apologize in advance for any grammar faults since english isn't my mother tongue. Also an apology in advance in case i offend anyone.

My expectations

Looking for someone to share my bed with. Cuddling in general: bed/living room while watching tv, sex obviously, fall asleep while holding her. I don't see myself talking to the doll or take her outside since i live in a small village where everyone knows everyone. I understand how some people bond with their doll but at the moment i don't think this is my cup of tea.

The setup

1: The doll size

I've set my mind on a WM doll but i can't make a decision when it comes to the size. My preference goes out to small cup size so i'm thinking about picking one of the following. Other doll bodies don't really get my blood flowing if you catch my drift. My height is 1,82m and i'm planning to have sex with my doll.

WM Doll 140 A-cup very nice body, realistic curves but i'm afraid she might be a bit too small for my height.

WM Doll 155 A-cup nice cup/bottom, unrealistic waist, legs seem a bit skinny. Ideal length for me? As far as i can tell this doll also is newer ... did the skeleton/overall quality improve?

2: The head

This is personal opinion but i'm stuck between the two heads from previous links

Eyes closed: #59 seems asleep which i think will make it easier to accept, very nice face. Comes with an option to choose eye colour: seems strange, what's the catch?
Eyes open: #56 she looks adorable but i'm afraid it might freak me out when i gaze into her eyes. Is it possible to close the eyes if i wanted?

3: The feet

Standing option: My doll will be in my king size waterbed most of the time but i can see the benefits if i have to move her. Easier to put on clothes etc.
Normal feet: realism! I like the feeling of a tiny foot on my leg while cuddling so i suspect this is the better option.

4: The hair/wig

Both come with great hair on the pics, but i'm pretty sure these will be wrecked after a few days in bed. Is it better to have a bed wig, or should i go for a shorter wig?

5: Insert or not?

Apart from cleaning i don't see any benefit in an insert. On the contrary: i think it might even make my interest go away when i can see the insert when she spreads wide. Also isn't it harder to 'enter' with an insert seeing as there's 2 holes that i have to aim for? Also check under section 12 of my post.

6: Realistic mouth option

I like kissing while making love, never been a fan of BJ's so this might seem like an easy pick. I'm kinda freaking out by the fact that even saliva can create mold ... On the other hand: the doll will not kiss back so this might seem weird.


The maintenance

7: washing/powdering/lube

can i do all this stuff on a towel on the bed, or should i carry her to the shower every time? I don't have a bath, and my shower is rather small for 2 people . Also i don't mind this part ... seems like fun to do but hard to not jump her

8: orifices

i'm not afraid of a bit of goo dripping out of certain places when i'm with a real woman, hence i don't tell them to go to the bathroom after having sex. My preference is to cuddle after sex and enjoy each others curves and gently pass out. I don't see myself getting up after sex with a doll to clean her, dry her etc. This is actually the main reason why i don't own a doll yet.

As i dwelled this forum i found a few solutions:
male condom: not a big fan to be honest, but
female condom: never heared of it before i came here, have no experience with them. Can i use them also for the anal cavity?
tons of vaseline: will my stuff just drip out and stain my sheets? to be honest this seems like the best solution, but i want second opinions.

I'm not planning on using the mouth for oral, but as stated before i like kissing: do i need to dry her mouth canal every time we kissed so mold doesn't get a chance?

9: perfumes and scents

Being a big fan of Rituals products, i wonder if i can use their shower products on TPE dolls. The smell is very hypnotic and lasts overnight on a real person.
Another thing i been looking into is the use of a real vagina smell fragrances for added reality. Is that safe to use near the doll vagina or is this a big no-no?

I would like to add that i'm a smoker (only in the living room) so i wonder if she will smell of cigarettes and/or weed when i lay her in bed after a night of watching tv

The other stuff

10: The cat

I have a cat, who sleeps on my bed with me. He never does this when i'm not in my bed, but he might change his mind when there's a doll in the bed all the time. Is there a possible problem with cat hair sticking on the TPE doll everywhere?

11: The cleaning lady

I know her all my life and we have a very good bond. She's open minded and i'm sure she won't tell anyone about my doll. Still i'm a bit uncertain on how she might react.

12: Play time

This is probably something to get used too. I suspect there will be a learning curve and i looked up a lot on the forum and i found a few nice tips and drawings on how to set things up.

What if i have sex with my doll, fall asleep, wake up and want to have another go. Is this doable, or do i have to start with a fresh cleansing, drying, reapplying vaselines etc. See section 8 ... my biggest concern is that this will keep me from getting a doll. It's the same with a real woman: i want to have sex, cuddle, sleep, wake up, have sex again ... then i'll hop in the shower and clean my doll.

Love bites: it's a thing i do now and then ... i can't help it, but when i'm in heat i tend to do it, not really hard but still ... i suppose it's a big no-no with tpe dolls for obvious reasons.

13: does size matter

Another possible issue is the cavity size. I'm above average (18cm length, 5cm wide) and i'm afraid i will rip her open, or like someone else posted: not be able to enter her.

On the same subject: what with preferable doll size (see section 1) for me? 140 or 155?

14: Clothing

are stockings enough to protect the toes, or should i put normal socks under them?
Will holdup stockings create a visual line after wearing them for a while if they are a bit too tight on her legs
are satin, classy long gloves good enough to protect the fingers?
can we sleep body to body, or is it advisable to put her in a pijama?

15: Additional thoughts

on some picture i can see lines on the legs, are they obvious on the touch? I also see a big imperfect spot on the 155cm doll in the middle of her back, is this on all the dolls?
is the new 155cm doll an improvement over the older 140cm doll? i mean skeleton improvement, better skin, less tearing etc
upon delivery the box is supposed to make it to my apartment to the 3th floor, is this doable with such a big box, or not advised? Might ask the delivery guy if he wants to make a bit extra cash
i tend to fart a lot while sleeping (according to a few ex-gf's) ... will TPE hold that smell?

If you think a doll is too small for your size, she probably is.

Newer dolls do have some improvements to thier skeletons, particuarly thicker finger wires which are less prone to breaking off. I think the 155 will have the thicker finger wires. I know the 140 has the thins but the 155 came out right abbout the time thicker wires did. Can someone else answer? The skin strength should be the same regardless of body.

The eye color is a standard question. If you choose an eyes-closed head, they just ignore your eye color choice.

The eyes can not be opened and closed but you can buy eye replacement kits that allow you to open and close. Check around on the forum for those.

Foot bolts don't stick out that much to be a bother. Unless you have a foot fetish, its always good to go with the standing option. You can put socks or booties on and you wouldn't know the difference.

Factory wigs shed alot, but they don't fall apart in a few days unless you're very rough or you do something stupid like try to curl them in an iron (they are not heat resistant.) Obviously the shorter wigs are easier to deal with, but my doll has exceptionlly long hair (down to her ass) and doesn't seem to be a big problem. I only need to be careful her hair isn't caught under her back should I wish to rotate her head left or right in bed (as doing so might pull the wig off the head.) It also gets in the way of doing up her bra or a bikini, but I usually just toss it over her shoulder for a moment. Go with the wig you like most but keep in mind it'll likely need to be replaced in several months.

If you think the look of an insert will be a turnoff, then don't get it. If you can deal with less realism when she spreads eagle, then go insert becuase the ease of cleaning and the resistance to vaginal splitting (which completely ruins a fixed vagina doll) are generally worth it. You've got your eyes on lighter weight dolls, so fixed should be fine. Make sure you get an aquarium pump or something to properly clean if you go for a fixed vagina.

TPE is good for kissing. I kiss Brie all the time and haven't notced mold or anything inside her mouth. (I should probably clean her mouth more than I do.) I use Purell Wet Wipes for cleaning. Note that the mouths don't open very wide and they dont have proper jaws so BJs aren't possible if you're on the bigger side. If you want realism and no fellatio, consider the tongue option.

Yes you can clean on the bed using wet microfiber towels. You may want to use a bucket though to prevent running back and forth to the bathroom to wet your rag.

Fluids can pour out if shes on top. Missionary they won't. Doggystyle depends a little bit more on angle. It seems to drop out less with vaseline as my lube than Fleshwater (which itself will drip out.) You don't absolutely have to clean right after finishing, but it may develop a stink if you leave it overnight.

Most people don't purfume their dolls directly, but perfume their clothing instead. I'm aware some people have used the vaginal scents for thier dolls, but I don't. I'm not sure how long the scent lasts. I don't smoke and can provide no input on this. TPE is porous though so I imagine she'd pick up the smell quite readily and this could be a problem if you decide to sell her someday. Farts don't seem to hold to TPE though but I've never fart directly onto my doll either (that I'm aware of)

Cat hair shouldn't be a problem. I'd be more concerned with him scratching or clawing at the doll. You may need ot watch your cat for the first few days of ownership and train him if he gets rough with the doll.

If you have that good of a relationship with the cleaning lady, I'd tell her about it before she discovers it on her own. Ask her if she prefers the doll be dressed or under covers when she comes to clean (she could be offended if the doll was splayed out naked on your bed.) If you can convince your cleaner that the doll is just another peice of furniture in your apartment instead of just a sex toy, she'd probably be okay with it.

You can pretty much go with your doll when you're ready, though if you have an insert model you'll obviously need an insert in there. If you don't clean after finishing at night, do it first thing in the morning. No problem going twice in one night if you have a long lasting lube (like vaseline.) Your biggest gotcha here may be vaginal warmth. It takes 10-15 minutes with a vagina heating rod to get a doll's vagina up to human-like temperature. If you want to go right away, she'll feel rather cool and unnatural. It's impractial to keep a rod in her all night in the chance you might wake up and want to do it again.

TPE is really quite stretchy. I'm about that size and never had any problem with any of the three inserts I've owned. They've never pushed me back out or felt overly tight (though I can add some rubberbands if I'm in the mood.) It seems like fixed vagina could be more prone to splitting based on manhood size though.

Toes don't need much in the way of protection. Only the big toes has a wire for posing; the other four are loose TPE. Its the footbolts you need to worry about - they will tear stockings so don't get anything too pricy and be careful pulling them on and off. Fishenets are especially troublesome for the tendancy to wrap around the bolt heads (but they look - and feel - fantasic)

As with any clothing, don't go too tight. Regular blend TPE should go back to form if tight clothing is removed, partciuarly if a little bit of heat is applied from a heating blanket, warm towel, or nearby heater. The ultra-soft stuff may be more prone to such damage. I havent noticed any problems from garter straps or stocking cuffs on Brie. Its usually underwires in bras people need to worry about. And of course avoiding dark or easily stainable clothing. Tight+stainable = marks on your doll.

There is no classy clothing that can prevent finger damage. You could have her in thick winter snow gloves or oven mitts and bending her hands the wrong way would still damage them. This is something you just have to be careful of, and there's no practical clothing that can help you. I made some hand mitts out of some packing foam and thick cardboard sheets which might have done well for protection, but looked horrible. I should probably use them when carrying Brie around the house but instead I generally just put her hands in front of her chest where they won't hit anything.

Sleeping naked body to naked body is just fine. In fact, its a great way to keep your doll warm (on the outside, not inside; see above.) Most nights Brie and I have slept in the nude.

The line you see is from the two halves of the mold. Its most noticible on the legs, but you can also see it on the sides of the torso, hips, and arms. It seems to be crapshoot whether your doll will show them or not. This was a great concern of mine as well, but I lucked out and got a doll with very minimal lines while other dolls people have posted photos of show much more noticible mold lines.

Typically they should deliver straight to your door, but living in an apartment in another country I'm less sure what the protocol is. In an aprtment setting, probably safest to be onhand for delivery and not trust to someone else. If you have an elevator moving to third foor yourself shouldn't be a problem (particuarly if you have a cart or handtruck) If you have to climb stairs, then yes, pay him to carry it up or help you do it. I wore out my back hauling my doll in box up only one flight of stairs and it ruined by first night with her becuase I was aching too badly.


To my knowledge, no doll owner has gone to hell and come back to life to explain doll ownership was the reason why.

Such a long post I think deserves an answer!

Have you looked at the 153cm? That has a very nicely proportioned figure and is not too short. You'll have a great deal more difficulty finding clothes for a doll smaller than that.

Eyes closed? It'd just look like she finds you really boring!

Insert: you have to clean the doll's fanny straight after sex, so an insert or female condom makes it easier. A FC is like an oversized condom that goes inside, but it does really spoil the sensation. Vaseline is to stop semen from soaking into the tpe. You still have to wash it out. If you leave it in there you'll have a bio hazard on your hand in no time.

Kissing: won't cause mold unless you really slobber and leave it there for a few days.

Washing: just do it on the bed with a plastic sheet and towels underneath her, and a sponge. Taking a doll into the bathroom is dangerous imo. She just needs to be wiped over, not soaked in water.

Smoking: yes she'll smell of cigarettes but presumably only you will be using her so it doesn't really matter. Dropping ash on her skin would give her a scar though.

Cat hair: will stick if the doll is tacky, not if she is powdered (the doll, not the cat!)

Clothing: stocking and tights don't do any harm. If you use dark stockings though put a light pair underneath them to avoid staining. Her toes will be okay. I wouldn't put gloves on a doll. In bed put mittens on her hands before going to sleep.

The seam around the body is faint and you don't really notice it or feel it. There shouldn't be any imperfections in the skin, no. One person cannot get the box up three flights but two people easily can. Mold is caused mostly by semen and saliva. Damp tends more to cause mildew which is white and can't be seen but will generally wipe off when cleaning. The sort of mold that affects dolls is black mold which starts as little black stains that gradually become larger. You are unlikely to get them on the outer surface unless the doll is really badly stored somewhere cold and damp and with no airflow. If the doll is out and on display then it won't get moldy. The lady bits will become moldy inside though if you leave semen in there, which is why it is important to flush it out as soon as possible.

You've had some excellent advice so far and I'd just like to add something to itvman's helpful response.
What you could do is have a sleeping wig. I use the original one which came with Hanna because I bought two additional good quality ones so I really don't care what happens to the sleeping wig. Alternatively you could buy a cheap short wig purely for sleeping. The two good wigs I bought have lasted well over two years now and I can see them easily going for another two but she never sleeps in them.

A bed wig is a good idea but I really hate taking the wig on and off because it takes a while to get it back on and brushed the way I like. Of course messy hair can also look really hot!

Further to cleaning it seems WM Dolls are about to get much lighter so that may make things a whole lot simpler if she can be carried easily to the bathroom for a quick clean. Currently dolls are a pain in the arse to clean and maintain because of the sheer weight. If WM really can pull off a 50% weight reduction then that is going to completely rewrite the rule book.

On the subject of weight i posted a question in the weight comparison post about the weight of the 155 A-cup because at work i sometimes have to toss around 25kg bags of chemicals, it's not really fun. Weight loss would be a welcome thing (every girl wants to lose weight so it's added realism). On the other hand i was thinking on buying my doll next month or so. It still might be a gamble since there are less A-cup models than big cups - if they change stuff around it will probably be on a large cup doll (statistically but not certain)

The 153cm doll itvman mentions is even heavier and apart from that she doesn't really get the blood flowing like the 140/155 a-cup dolls ... i don't have a sane explanation for it, guess it's one of natures twists and turns.

For the wig, the vendor i chose offers 3 extra wigs. I was kinda contemplating to pick a short bob for her when she would be in bed, and pick longer ones for special occasions
