stand-up time?

Post by d011user »

How long is it safe to keep a 5'1" h-cup doll in a standing position, leaning up against a wall? This doll does have the stand-up foot option.

I just want to get her out of the bed during the day. I'm wondering if I can lean her up against the wall on a daily basis, for about 12 hours per day or so, and then lay her back in the bed at night.

The goal of course, is just to prevent any kind of damage to skeleton and TPE skin.

Thanks.

I think everyone here would suggest this is a great idea to stand her. No compressions and marks on her if she's standing. It's almost like the hanging/storing option really.

My doll (YL155 A-cup) has been standing for about three weeks now, as my place is pretty small. I don't currently see any damage, although there are small creases in the front of her ankles when she stands, but I'm hoping that monthly oil treaments will be enough to prevent these from becoming permanent.

Thanks much guys - I love her standing - so hot - makes a great display.

lilbitlonely - can you clarify "oil treatment"? I don't remember reading about oil being a recommended treatment for TPE - I've only used 100% cornstarch baby powder so far.

thanks.

Baby oil and vaseline (see the tpe maintenance and honeymoon threads for the full discussion)

Be aware that the joints will loosen over time so your doll may not be able to stand for 12 hours in a few months time.

Make sure you have a good piece of memory foam between her and the wall.

Standing is from my experience the best solution for storing without issues for skin & skeleton for really long times! And the most satisfying

A good thread about standing
