I just received my first doll this week and I wanted to share with you the whole "doll process", why I got here, my first impression, first mistakes... This is quite personal, and not the kind of thing I would detail to a friend in person
I don't HAVE TO share this with you, but somehow, I feel compelled to do it because I see this place (TDF) as a sanctuary for open-minded people 
Writing it down on this forum is like saying it out loud, and i think it will free my mind, so bare with me 
because I am not a native english speaking guy, "pardon my french" as they say ; my sentences might not be worth a Shakespearean read 
Chapter One : How I got here
I am 26, working as a mechanical engineer in the automotive industry. I like my job and my situation, eventhough it takes a lot of my time. I have various hobbies that sinks the time I have left, with great passion. I am single, always have been. Women seems so weird to me, always polarizing on drama after drama... i guess I am afraid of the deception and frustration associated with being with a women... I don't want that in my life, I have other things to care for that make me happy in a "controlled manner".
As for the driving factor to dolls : i owned a few fleshlights in the past, and it was great.. until I got bored of it. Then comes an "addiction" to porn, watching almost daily. Since I was bored sex-wise, and was looking for a little extra to spice my lonely life, I started looking on the web for answers.
A few cliks away, i came accross some love dolls pictures on an aliexpress listing and it was a shock !
I could not believe such beautiful dolls existed, they looked so real, almost too good to be true. I thought they went crazy with photoshop. Then I started looking for more informations on dolls and found this forum : second shock, they WERE REAL indeed ! OMG ! The following week, i would spend about 4 hours every day searching the forum for more information, I wanted MORE
It became an obsession, I could hardly sleep because my mind was so busy with all those dolls. Just thinking of the possibilities made me sweat (and also gave me a huge boner

After 3 weeks waiting, and getting teased by the factory sending me pictures of the doll i ordered (that's mean
) she arrived in her giant cardboard coffin 
I was pretty excited to free her from her box, and see how it looks and feel in person. As I unwrap her, I start with head : just gorgeous ! even without the wig. First mistake : I place her head carefully on the table, and the second I turned my back, her head rolled on the table and fell on the floor ! it made the weirdest sound I've ever heard, a huge "Flop!" I was so pissed (at myself) to let that happens in the first 10 minutes after opening the box 
we were off for a great start Fortunately, her head was intact After a few kisses, she forgave me already, such a nice lady Unfornatunately she suffered a slight shipping damage as one of her boob is somewhat flatter than the other. I managed to almost fix it with a heat gun and infrared thermometer.Chapter Three : The doll is here !
I thought I was prepared for her and the "doll life" (both mentally and physically) : Oh boy ! was I not prepared for this !
- it's heavy!
I knew it was heavy so I compared her weight before-hand to other object I can lift to get a feel for it. I was like : "OK, she weighs roughly the same as my bike, I can lift my bike so no problem there" Except she doesn't have handles like my bike, and I don't put my bike in the bath-tub
At first it's so weird, I didn't know how to grab her, move her joints (they are stiff). I am starting to get used to moving her so it's easier. However I find it very hard to have her standing on her feet - it's smooth !
The softness of her skin, and the feeling of the TPE material completely exceeded my expectations, it's out of this world !

I find her whole body to be gorgeous, from the feet to the hand, she has good proportions, very detailed and sculpted. She not so curvy wich is totally fine by me (it's my type of girl)

This face is so cute, it's mesmerizing ! I feel like I am being sucked into her eyes if a stare at her for too long !

I was not expecting her love holes to be this detailed ! I must say my love cannon is very happy (almost too happy for my liking, more like trigger-happy
)So far I am very happy with how it turned out. She is a great company. I realize now that dolls have a somewhat steep learning curve, high price tag and also requires dedication and care. In return, they offer so much more in comparison
i still have a lot do for her :
- Find an appropriate name (or not
)- Develop a contingency plan when I have guests at home to hide her (i live in a small appartment and I don't have a lockable room or closet to keep her safe from prying eyes)
- Find a more effecient way to clean and dry her intimate parts
- Learn how to make-up
- Buy some nice clothes
...

Sweet little girl 
), I woke up this morning with what looks like a slight skin reaction to TPE on my fore-arms. Its only on the inside of my 2 fore-arms, which makes sense because this is the contact point with her when heavylifting (high stress area, could help chemicals permeate the skin). Looks like a red-ish plaque, with tiny darker dots. It's not monstruous or anything (yet?) but it's a sign that doesn't lie.
