Yeah you are right! got some extra when I got the 2nd head, but those you suggested are def. cheaper haha maybe for next round.
The lower ones don't bother me that much, but replacing them is on my to do list.
The other head by now misses (well not lost) one of the upper eyelashes; that is definitely weird to look at!
Find myself only looking at the other eye haha so that is 1 step higher on the to do list

Ok, I'll first try with the baby oil first. Going to need a bigger / cheaper supply of that stuff (or maybe better mineral oil). Any advice on what store might sell that?
Got the baby oil from a pharmacy, but they just had baby bottles...

These are useful. Glue it with some silicone, superglue is only shitty working

Don't use any make-up remover. All what you need is baby oil/mineral oil & cotton swabs first. But there are some additional methods of cleaning

I noticed

Already got some (major) knee injuries some weeks ago.

P.s. while the damages are of course my own fault, I do feel like it's kinda a manufactures error; I feel like there there probably is some clever not so expensive way to protect the TPE from the skelleton...hope one day they will focus on the interior problems / longevity of the doll.

Last night I was pretty careful not to 'move / let her slide' to much while she was on her knees getting busy with it. Tho even while being careful (the body/knee moved some tiny bit like 3-5 times) one of the knees got a small indend (!?) and aligned mini surface breaking crack (like 1-2mm). It seems putting some sort of mattress under her is really required to not damage her.

But most shocking was the stain on the knees...So I learned that, while the clothing did not stain on her body, pressing that black dress to her TPE skin does considerable staining...Took no pics of it, but guess some of you know what it looks like. Anyway, overnight a big part vanished, tho I would assume some 50% of the mark will remain.

Ow LOL 1 thing I would like to share for laughs.

I'd get this 'nude' bra, but the pattern / style was not as shown in the pics (it was suppose to be kinda classy with lines).

I showed the shop this image in order to prove I've received the wrong product. Imagine being the one working there and opening this:

Get some TPE stain remover if you haven't already. Ami has had some pretty bad stains over the year all of them went after using the stain remover.

Been following the discussion about heels with standing option feet because it's near and dear to me! I ordered my soon to be girl with the standing feet option, and only later wondered, "Will she be able to wear heels"? Most of the discussion (at least the parts I've read so far) has centered around being able to balance her to stand, and I've seen some great photos of really awesome heel showing that yes, you can use them with a fixed plate. My question is: How? From the photos I've seen of how the skeleton looks, the plate is a flat metal piece from heel to about the ball of the foot, so you can bend the foot, but the "arch" and metatarsals can't bend. With some of the very high heels and platform photos, I wondered if you had to buy several sizes larger than needed so that "straight" foot could fit in and wear the heels without having to bend at the arch. Do you pad the void areas that would be left in the shoe then? I think with a very modest heel it wouldn't be a huge problem, but for some really high platform heels, I can't see any other way to do it than an oversize shoe so the foot can say straight within the shoe while the ankle bends enough to match the angle of the heel/platform. Any thoughts on that?

Try to get the ones with thinner drawing tips, not the big felt tip, then draw feathered lines. Helps to draw over what is left of her factory eyebrows to know exactly where to put them, what arch they should have and where they start and end. Becomes semi-permanent in just a few minutes - I've only had to touch up once or twice in about 5 or 6 months. You can clean up mistakes using mineral oil before it sets in but best to take your time and do it right so you don't have to scramble to fix a mistake. Try it on your spare block of TPE first. You can also use Sharpies for tattoo work or to draw freckles if those are your gigs.

I would be wary of furniture touch up pens. These may contain oils designed to seep into wood fibers and are potentially damaging to TPE.

The Cezanne coloring thing I linked to is most like lipstick, not a pen, pencil, or marker. Twist at the bottom to raise it up and then apply over the surface. I actually have to apply it quite vigorously becuase the TPE at the eyebrows is soft, not backed up by a skull like human heads. It helps cover up the Sharpie lines and gives a more realistic appearance, with a slightly more varied color than the Sharpie alone. When newly applied it should smear like lipstick too, so don't rub her eyebrow areas or a good hour or so while it settles in. If you leave it all day, it'll become long-lasting: you could still remove it with mineral oil or a wet wipe but I typically just let it stay on until it needs to be replenished every 10 weeks or so.

Hi Tyr, good to hear it is working so well. Do you also refer to Indigo's stain remover, or did you get it somewhere else?

Planning on getting some + TPE repair kit and some glue.

Hi Brian,

Only the three bolts are carrying the weight, not the plate directly. There is no metatarsal bone, only TPE or wires. Arch bending is not needed.
The possible size/height of the heels depends on the range of the henge bending. I think it's pretty near the real thing, like you can see on the picture. Almost the max range..
The foot has to fit tight in the shoe, otherwise it slips down to much, might damage the foot or loses stability
small size is to prefer, larger sized shoes only use with support of some socks.
Only problem is to find the right balance. The higher it goes, the more difficult it could be..
