Question about YL standing feet

YLDoll is doll manufacturer based in China. Since 2013 we have been creating life size dolls made of thermoplastic elastomer known as TPE. The dolls are incredibly soft to the touch and when powdered feel very similar to human skin. These dolls are anatomically correct but can be used for other purposes besides sexual such as companions, film props, mannequins or decoration. Our dolls are very flexible and poseable by using stainless steel skeleton designs. Our team consists of excellent designers and production workers to provide excellent before and after-sale service. All materials comply with the National Health & Safety Standards which is harmless to humans and is environmental friendly. We offer OEM service!

Question about YL standing feet

Post by JCnine »

So how exactly do these work?
I have heard that there are essentially 3 bolts that get attached to the foot plate and it adds stability. I've also heard that you cannot get your doll into a high heel if you have this (and this is a must for me, high heels are incredibly sexy to me  ) . However, I've also heard that the bolts are removable if you want to put your doll into heels (just don't stand her up in them). I would love to get the standing option for numerous reasons, but I don't want to if it means she can't wear heels! Can someone shed some light on this so I make the right choice?!

I always order the standing option and my dolls are posed in high heels without issues. No idea who started saying that cannot be done. In fact my 140D stays in heels standing all the time. I am into heels like you and this is one of the things I enjoy seeing. Just remember the larger dolls have a harder time standing in 5" heels, and it's really the 140cm doll shown here that can stand like this in any heel all the time. The larger ones are heavy and the heel can twist under the foot. Posing is thus hard.

Ah, thank you! That clears that up a lot! Now I definitely need the standing option for my new gal! I'm actually leaning towards the YL 135cm body so standing in heels should be a piece of cake then!

Mishka1965,
Thank you for replying.
Any other suggestion like shoes with straps for ankle stability?
I am pretty sure a 155WM weighs about 8-10lbs less than 135YL.

Well, thanks for the post, I will jump on the thread with a relevant question. Any tips on getting the doll to stand/balance? I have a YL 155 Custom and have a hard time first, knowing how to setup balance and second, how to get her to stand without injuring her feet. Only attempted it once with really padded slipper on her with some success, it balance is a big issue for me... I must be doing something wrong, tips would be great!

By the way, standing up is the only real way to appreciate their amazing tush!
YL155 Custom D, BB (with heads 36, 46, 88) - Mila, Jessica, and Ivana have arrived!

Pur her with her back against the wall, like this:

(That is Juliana, a 155cm Yourdoll)

Here she is bending slightly forward, with her belly touching the back of the chair, and her right arm resting on Kim's shoulder.

Her feet must be somewhat apart. You can't really get them closer to each other than in the first pic.
I have two AI Neo Yuki dolls: Erika and Kim Ishino. They've got their own thread in the 4Woods forum.
Kim has a girlfriend: Erika Juliana Clark, she's got her own thread in the Yourdoll forum.
And then there is Alexandra Seizinger, who also has her own album and thread.

Lexi (a Phicen/TBleague doll) likes to travel.

For standing lay doll down flat and have legs and body flat and not bent at hips. Legs should be at smallish angle and not too wide or else heels will bend at her ankles either immediately or over time. This comes really from trial end error..
To help this, as Jeff mentioned, thigh boots or zipper boots at ankle high are good for support. Also the heavier dolls are difficult because it takes significant strength to get her in the standing A pose with heels. Once one ankle starts to bend, you have to start over, and I can only do this a few times before getting fatigued. They are very heavy when you need to save her ankle from damage by picking her up at her leg..

Try the smaller dolls because she has shorter legs and may be easier to position.

It really must be done on solid floors and carpet may be a challenge with stilettos.

Go easy at first with platform heels and zippered boots!

I guess the good thing if you put your doll in shoes with the not standing option it'll protect her feet. I know i wouldn't stand her even if i could I just wouldn't fearing she would tear.

I keep my doll standing up leaned up against a wall with a memory foam pillow in between.
She's wearing ballet flats right now (the only none heels) so doesn't slip around.
I tried many times to stand up CeCe in heels but it was impossible with her being a larger doll.
If I get a small doll in the future I'm definitely getting the standing option and try to stand her up in high heels :)

Stick her feet in the shoes and get balancing. You don't have to remove anything. (Just the sweat from your brow).

I've heard you can stand a non standing feet up but just not for long period of time so maybe 5 mins just to snap a picture I guess. Has anyone ever stood up a non standing foot and how did it come out? Were the feet destroyed afterwards or broken skin?
