You need to close the wound. Clean the surfaces with Acetate first then put in some adhesive like Sil-poxy or Permatex Flowable silicone adhesive.
Work from the deepest part gradually outwards in two or three stages and bind the silicone closed with cling film between each application.
Having not done a major silicone repair I'm not positive about what I've suggested so if someone knows better please post it.
