Can this thing make a seam thicker than other vinyl in order to make the seam at least as strong (or stronger) than other body?

Ultrasonic welding is used for very high quality seams. The result depends on the shape of the sonotrode (rod) used. At our machine, there is mall circular rod only and spare original rods are very expensive. It needs to spent some time at simulation SW and then visit a workshop with a brick of aluminium.
