Eye Exchange
Eye Exchange
I needed to change my deluxe's eyes due to them being damaged during a large cleaning. I had some copies printed on photo paper that I reprinted, though I figured it would be a good move to also post the copy here on the forum.
Using some photo paper and a basic printer, you can use the file below to print the eyes for a Tina doll to use on your own doll. Other users can add their own doll's eyes so others can have access to them as well.
It's in .pdf format so it will remain consistent across most availalble operating systems (as far as I know).
Later.

Szalinski also makes a good point to seal the ink to reduce the chance of color fading / running. Last thing a doll needs is lazy racoon eyes.

Re: Eye Exchange
Attached below is a pair of customized Teddy Babe eyes I used for a photoshoot.
You can download the photo, and using some glossy photo paper print out new eyes for your TB. I couldn't format these to a PDF file, so before using your photo paper print these out on low quality until they are the right size to fit your doll.
I used Windows Picture Viewer and printed them out as 4"x6", and left the "Fit Picture to Frame" box unchecked to get a perfect fit.
Finally, after you print them out let them dry for about 4 hours or until the printed side isn't sticky.

Re: Eye Exchange
The eyes are in .pdf format and are already properly sized, just download from the link and print them out. You can also do a test print in grayscale in case you want to check the size to make sure it fits.
Remember the proper steps to attach:
- Print out on glossy photo paper with high settings for the best finish (it will take a few minutes depending on your printer).
- After cutting them out, let them dry for about 4 hours or until the printed side is not sticky.
- Use liquid super glue to apply to your TB (after removing the originals). Zang recommends using brush-on super glue (always apply to the back of the eyes, not the fabric).
Finally, Slazinski recommends using a clear paint to seal the ink. This is recommended if you plan to use eyelids for your doll so tape doesn't affect the inked side of the new eyes.

Here is a short video on how to prepare new eyes once you have them printed out. It also includes a comparison to a set of original unused eyes directly from the manufacturer.

Re: Eye Exchange
I have replaced Nicole's eyes with Sonya's eyes in green.
Actually, I just removed the tiny sponge from the backs of the new eyes and glued them onto the top of Nicole's eyes with super glue.
Now I have two Cat-Babes. I have more cat eyes for a third Cat-Babe. Blue, Red, Violet?
Did I mention the wig changes?
