I wouldn't bother to use CA on the foam. Firstly, you need to use "foam compatable" CA. Not sure which one would work with the DS foam. Secondly, the permatex holds the foam as well as the silicone. It's been many months with lots of activity and the permatex is holding up flawlessly.
