Zara was a secondhand doll. I'm glad that her original owner didn't feel that he had to toss her on the trash

My situation is like this. I'm going to move into a much smaller apartment and there is simply no room for my doll. If I'm going to sell my doll I will have to do it before I move out.

If you want to try to sell her then here is the place. :) If you were going to just cut her up, then you may even consider simply giving her away to a better home and anyone that'll pay for her shipping or that may be able to call and collect her. :)

I've bought 2 dolls that had previous owners, but I myself would never ever sell any of mine off. When I die some day - if I can't have them, no one will. They will be buried in the trash in their makeshift caskets (cardboard boxes).[/quote]

Narc,
you had better put it in your will or do it before you die.
if found they might be sold....given away and ruin your eternal peace..

i hope you are kidding. your name implies self centered love so...
i ask ,what is gained with your plan??? nothing at all that i can understand.
perhaps there are other more personal reasons to pull a king tut move.

I have been a very LOving & giving person most of my existance (HAVE BEEN HURT ALOT FOR IT ASWELL) , but 'Good things DO come to GOOD people!'..........
'It's called Kharma / Positive Energy'
I may not be rich, but I certainly have Much MORE then those that DO & always have resources to help those not so fortunate.....The Blessings are endless!
Perfect EXAMPLE: 'My Valerie!' ..
(not to mention Good Health / A solid Roof over my head / plenty of food & BEER :glou: )

Valerie will be passed on to a LOving home when I'm gone ...'As she much deserves!'

nevertheless,
'I dont wanna change the world / I dont want the world to change me!'

When I read that you planned to cut her up, that reeeally reminded me of the movie "Love Object" from 2003. Wich I will be watching tonight.

Hope you sell her so somebody else can enjoy her =)

I don't Know what will happen to my dolls when I'm gone, But I am sure I will have bigger things to worry about. Like being dead, for starters.

I know I couldn't afford your doll with my current savings, but if U don't feel like selling her U could consider giving her away, if U think this option would fit then I'd be glad to have her at my home, please post some pics.

Yep, in case U decide I could have her then I'd pay the shipment gladly

Selling her for the cost of shipping will be less work and worry than cutting up the doll and sneaking around putting body parts in dumpsters. You never know who is watching plus cameras are all over the place these days. In the USA you can be fined up to $1,000 for illegal dumping. Many here would be glad to take her off your hands as-is and find her a new home. Good Luck!

Make sure you pour liberal amounts of ketchup in the bags and get some on your clothes too.
Also, make sure there's lots of people around to, uh, watch out for you. Ask a friend to video it. :D
I can't wait to see that.

Seriously, I like the idea of selling her for shipping or slightly above (back-ache fee). Sounds cool.

...............I'd hit dat

it's almost heartless to even think of cutting up such an amazing work of art as a RD or any of them, for that matter...i've known and seen buriels and doll funerals...

and i guarentee ... mine if i can't do it myself, then they'd better be with me when i go...i don't care if it took 4 urns and 4 memorials for us. My dolls will have dignity in the world WE live in.

If nothing else, give the girl to someone in the forum who Needs one...and work out a pay plan for it...
I'd do it...and i don't have one yet...still working on getting mine so can give her silks and dress her up like the an asian angel deserves. Can't do it with real women, they treat me bad for being kind...lol
here to make friends...so send me an add, and feel free to say hi.
