Customs opened my package - DHL - DS 145minus

OPENED AND RESEALED FOR CUSTOMS PURPOSES

So to start, I promised people here that if my package is ever opened by customs, I will report it. Never had my package opened before so this is really shocking experience but there's good news.

I didn't post this topic to cause panic or extreme paranoia over DS145 minus dolls. The probing is real and random. So this is my only experience on what to expect when yours is tampered. So far nothing bad except a few things....

So to start with, I bought 2 DS 145minus body both in Cream Skintone. I requested one to be delivered a week apart to cloaked itself from random probe at the customs. I guess this body on which is supposedly Kyouka's body has gotten a bad luck.

I'll be showing you a side by side comparison of the box and interior between Amane (Lin) and Kyouka (Lian)

So this is the box that says my package has been opened. If you seen this on your box, yes, be wary. Those guys just throw back everything inside without putting it back right.

Here below are the boxes comparison. Left side is Amane's (DS Lin) and right side is Kyouka's (DS Lian) both 145minus.

Inside, you will see how DHL just throw back everything after inspection without regards to what those straps are for.

What happened to Kyouka's straps? Here they are underneath. Lazy bastards!!

Okay so let's check if there's any damages. As you can see, they didn't zip the sleeping bag back.

Here's the body but I'll do more on Kyouka's review when I set up the review of her. Checking for damages. So far there's this dark fingerprints over her body. I can tell a black gloves was used on inspection. Shouldn't it be white gloves? What the fu...

So far so good. Everything seems to be good except this part....

I'll probably seal it or ignore it, what do you think? I guess those aholes decided to poke her? Idk. Maybe because of the straps and zipper open the doll was damaged on shipment. This is very unprofessional way of inspecting a package. Just glad they didn't confiscate her lol and I doubt she would be.

Anyways, I'll check for more damages and report it all on my reviews. Meet Kyouka DOLLAVIDALOCA. Maybe tomorrow or IDK.

This is just to report as promised if ever my package is opened.

It's DHL Ontario, CA USA but the package land in LA Customs. I was shocked this happened just this. I expect my future packages to be this... when it's inspected.

Still don't know if it's US customs or Chinese customs. The only thing so far I see different amongst my shipment track on DHL is that Clearance Event.
Never had that before so must be in China. Can't be sure.

I guess silicone is easier to clean, but I'd be worried if the customs agents decided to have a little fun at work and feel her up, think about all the germs, dirt, and sweat that would be on their filthy hands... Bleh.

Eeww! WTF? lol Disgusting. If they didn't use any gloves, I would see their paw prints on her body. She's heavily sticky and even my prints would show up before I powdered her.

Just grabbed some wet cloth and a bit of Dove. Dampen her body all around. It's alright. Just hope those customs agents didn't give me any flu for this upcoming summer. hehe

Well glad she made it at least. As for the damage, it looks minor and fixable, but sad this happens. I wish you all the best and hope things go smoother in the future.

This is one of the reasons why I wish there were doll makers in our home country instead of China having the complete control over the production!! Customs wouldn't even be an issue!

The packing tape says DHL so it was absolutely them repacking it. If they ever do it to one of mine I'm going to haunt their social media and just smear their service every single chance I get. There is no reason for them to damage contents or repack poorly.

I'm glad too but the thoughts and the process of her getting cavity check is another story. Plus I don't know what else John put inside the box. There's nothing in there nor the brochure.

So yeah, just the doll inside.

Custom's is always agonizing if they inspect your stuff. They typically lose a lot of stuff since the workers don't really care.

At least your doll is (looks?) virtually unharmed even with the subpar repacking job.

I'm half surprised they used gloves. I'd always give a doll that goes through customs a good washin.

I'd wash her later. I did just use a wet towel and wipe her off then proceed to splash her with powder.

Yeah, another fear of buying your item. Is it for sample? Nope, they do that everytime. Probably think it's a dead body lol.

Anyways, I understand that it's for the safety too but I really hope that when they tampered on items, they make sure to put it back the same way it was. I hate to see an expensive item just thrown in like that and call it a day. I hate it. I despise it.

They should consider putting a description on the box like "Collectible Replica" - something that helps people understand the value of the item. Hopefully they would treat it a little better.

Glad you received the dolls in good condition and that neither shipment ended up on the forfeiture listing.

I'll assume that your location and the port in Los Angeles can be considered safe.

Did you receive the heads in separate packages?

I'll check your introduction after my data resets. Twitter ate my mobile data, so I have to wait until tomorrow or until I can use my wifi at home. Currently, pages take too long to load.
