Re: Here is my new 145- with Lilith head, Yvette
Jonathan, I really liked this image and pose laying in the sofa waiting for you.
Yvette is a nice lady, like it a lot your clothing taste. clothing is a big factor to resemble the doll you like to have. I can relate to you in the height of the doll, 145cm is great for persons like us (a few inches more than this petite lady)
congratulations! and please show us more of her on your returning.
regards.
Re: Here is my new 145- with Lilith head, Yvette
Yvette was feeling very content and comfortable in bed and didn't want to get up.
But, I told her that a new piece of clothing had come for her in the mail, and she wanted to try it on before I could even wash and iron it.
It's not as fashionable as her floral dress, but I wanted something that she could lounge around in without fear of creating stains. She seems pretty happy with it.
Indeed. And that brings to mind another point about her that I really like: her weight. Picking her up and carrying her is so satisfying because she has enough weight that it feels comparable to carrying a person, but not so much weight that it's a struggle. It's incredibly easy to bridal carry her, and it's even possible to carry her with one arm by supporting her bottom with my hand. I love it.RJAce1014 wrote: It's like you lose a whole weight you're carrying with you a bag full of stress and excitement and finally now she will be the one you'll be carrying with you from here on.

Thanks! I think we're of similar minds when it comes to taste in our ladies' clothing, because I really do like the outfits that Jeanette wears. And it's good to see that there's another person that benefits from her petite height being a good match for our shorter height.mexdl wrote:

You're welcome Jonathan and of course you too Yvette.Jonathan- wrote:Indeed. And that brings to mind another point about her that I really like: her weight. Haha, well it's alright to go Awol for a while since the reason is crystal clear. You gotta spend some time with your new lady. Your companion that came to you like your personal guardian angel that will now be looking out for you. It's a glory honeymoon spending. haha
It's true, this is why I want more because unlike many dolls that I own before DS, she's like super lighter. If I can explain it correctly, she can be as light as a 100cm TPE. (I know it's a bad comparison because 125cm TPE is a bit heavier for me like 52lbs. or more while DS 145series is 45lbs. and below.)
I assure you, she's not only about the weight but the way her skin feels. It's not detailed on the outlook however feels very life like. Like you're touching someone. Other Silicone dolls are hammered with texture and pores texture yet really hard and antirealistic feels. It gives you a slow closing connection while DS, I always get to really feel like I hug or someone really gave me a hug. I hang out more with my DS dolls than the rest of my dolls. I felt like I can replace the rest with DS so to say their importance are really matter.
I know that you'll love her soon as you touch her out of the box and I have that similar feels. Of course, you may not get it now but you'll have yourself thinking one day of getting her a friend or sister. You may be one doll man but your doll need a sort of a friend ever since you're her partner which is more than a friend xD
Enjoy your days!!

She has a friend in my DS Mini, Aurelia! I'll have to do a photo session with both of them one of these days.
The honeymoon has been great. She's nearly all I think about when I'm away at work, and it's wonderful to come home to her at the end of the day. Not to mention having someone to cuddle up to at bedtime. Anyway, I thought I'd provide one more post here with a bunch of pictures and some more thoughts on my lady.
I was surprised at how much I can still do as far as posing her with her loose joints. It appears that the shoulders, elbows, and knees are the loose joints, while the wrists, ankles, shoulders (shrugging joints), and spine are fairly tight, with the hips being somewhere in the middle. I like this configuration a lot, as what I really wanted out of a loose-jointed lady was for her limbs to move about naturally in bed and when carrying her. I like the way that her knee joints in particular achieve this--when I pick her up to carry her, rather than her lower legs immediately falling to their resting position, they gradually fall into position over the course of maybe 1 second or so. It's a small detail, but it's something that I appreciate. In fact, the same resistance in her joints that creates that gradual movement allows her to hold her legs in certain poses as well:
These bedroom shots bring us to intimacy.
I won't be very explicit, but I just thought I'd add that I actually like the insert option so far. I had read that it would be a good idea to ask for a glued in insert, but I decided against it because I wanted the convenience of an insert. It may not be the right choice for everyone, but I feel that it's the right choice for me, as clean-up afterward is so incredibly easy. That easy clean-up comes as a relief from previous experiences with a built-in option, which is more aesthetically pleasing, but not worth it to me. I am aware, however, of the risk to the silicone that comes from the constant removal and insertion of the insert. It became very obvious how easy it can be to cause a tear when I first tried to place the insert. I tried using my hand at first, which wasn't the best idea as I nearly needed to place my entire hand inside the orifice to coax the insert inside, even with a generous powdering. I eventually figured out that I could more safely place the insert by using the handle of my feather duster to push the insert in place. Somewhat inelegant, but it keeps the opening of the cavity from being stretched out.
Shifting topics, something I mentioned earlier is how well she and I "fit" together. Here, we see how near to each other we are in height, with her legs being nearly as long as mine (and far, far cuter).
But, she is still of course smaller than me in overall size. This isn't a bad thing, though, as she takes up only a little less than half of the seat of my favorite chair,
meaning that we both fit!
I'm not sure what else I'd like to say about her other than I think she's incredibly beautiful and is a masterful work of art. I'm grateful to have her here with me at last, and I hope we have many happy days together. Oh, and I'm terrible at putting pantyhose on her
Enjoy these photos!

145's are nice because they are just the right size, not to big, not to small, and their weight is definitely just right. yours is even lighter than mine.

The shoes I got for Yvette are a US girls size 1. They also have EURO 32 and UK 13.5 listed on them, but I'm not sure if those are children's or standard sizes.Realrobotdoll wrote:Hi nice looking doĺl is it a ds doll as if got ds doll lilith 145+ i not got her shoes yet as struggling with size I'm .uk based think they size 1

Wow, I was so dumb to not realized that you have DS Minis. Well, I guess I thought Yvette is your first doll.
Anyways, she is indeed your first 145 so it's really nice to experience the said body. Having light and flexible.
She's loose joint so I don't know how much she's much better than tight joints. For me, at least she can do more than hug and cuddle. She sometimes go beside you and give you a massage xD.
Well some people here had tried posing their loose joint DS and it's impressive how creative they all did it. So I guess creativity begins if you own a non tight joint DS Doll haha look at how IQ animated her Alissa. She's loose joint as well. Very creative.
It's also good to see both man and dollady sitting together. Kinda what I am when watching TV.
Cheers,
RJ

Hahah RJ, don't say that! I haven't posted any pictures of Aurelia in a while, so it's no surprise that not everyone here knows about her. And you're right about Yvette being my first 145. I have had other dolls in the past (an 80cm silicone elf, a 130cm fabric girl, and my DS Mini), but Yvette is my first full-size silicone doll, and it really does feel like she is my first real doll (no pun intended), with my other girls being more of an introduction to the doll world. She's certainly very special to me.
Re: Here is my new 145- with Lilith head, Yvette
I guess that's the reason xD. Anyways, can you do this big favor... so I was thinking of you putting Aurelia and Yvette together like sisters. Aurelia on Yvette lap either reading books together or playing games... can you do that? That also gives me an idea how big or small DS Mini along with DS 145.Jonathan- wrote:Hahah RJ, don't say that! Haha I've been there done that. Before I go with life sizes, I go for BJD as first. Then afterwards, ended up getting my first 125cm on 2015(Alana) then I started hoarding lifesizes around late 2016 till now. For me, I see them as art. I don't know, I see them as companion and room decoration... or they rather make my room lively. I'll be honest, I'm a lonely man (hihi) well at home at least. I only stay home for few hours, sleep and then go back to work. I can never get use to staying home rather than sleep. Now I have things to do at home that kept me from staying and they're the reason. I love it.
That's why my collecting habbit didn't stop.

That is great to hear. I'm looking forward for that shot. I would definitely keep an eye on it. I'm really interested in seeing how minis and 145series together looks and it's happening to someone who actually have both. That's nice!Jonathan- wrote:Yeah, I can give it a shot. I just won't have time until Sunday night. But, the pictures should be up by Monday morning.
