I guess you're right. Well I was not sure about the May Flower submission we did and I thought it's not the best but Sayumi got mad at me at her thread because I was being negative. Of course, I know we can't beat those beautiful entries yet she think that she did her best and shown me some attitude I didn't before. I guess it will take me that sweet from dollsweet to know her more xD and yes, it's family thing. I guess all of them are sweetheart until you become negative about them. They're princesses so they're sensitive like Princess Sayumi here xDmexdl wrote:RJ : yeah, Jeanette have some attitude lol. but the majority of time she is a sweetheart . yeah, i guess the bite lip thing is a family thing, you know what i mean.

My Neener can't do this! (She's from 2013 and has harder silicone. ) But she's still a part of the "family"!

Of course she can. Use Mexdl neck technique.... what do you mean by 2013 model? Doesn't move like it's solid hard? Whoa, now I get it. Oops my bad. Hey, I guess your Neener can do the flametongue techniques xD
Cheers,
RJ
Note: Sayumi shown me a bit of attitude but she's still sweetheart. I guess I can understand now Jeanette was.

Hi dollcoll.dollcoll wrote:Hey mexdl, how did you do to put that so realistic texture in the skin (moles, etc)?
Looks so nice
(this is a close up of the actual Jeanette make up)
DS gals already have a light makeup, but i can enhanced with a minimum retouch.
My tools are:
a eye shadow palette, a blush powder and a lip gloss.
a large brush and a tiny one.
The DS new softer silicone formula let the makeup apply better and stay for a long time. but you can get rid of it with a cotton ball and alcohol.
All the process is not so different from a make up to a flesh and blood girl.
1-first, with the large brush I apply some talc o cornstarch to the face, this make all the process easy since all the color powder blend better.
2-get rid of the excess of talc of the large brush and apply the blush powder depending on the shape of the face of your girl. , be careful, do not put too much or the face will look like sunburned skin from the sun (it happen a lot to me)
3- apply one of two colors of eye shadows , remember, this is just a retouch, remember, an excess could lead to a clown effect.
4- with a toothpick, take a little of black powder of your eye shadow palette, apply gently and carefully to avoid dent the silicone.
5- do the same on the eyebrows if you like to add more hair (i choose a dark brown powder).
6- apply lipgloss in the same area the original make up is.
for the moles, with a little imagination I made a useful and fun technique to apply moles in the face:
please look for my 2012 http://www.dollforum.com/forum/viewtopi ... 40&t=40134 simple makeup tutorial.
read entirely and you will see that is easy and fun to do retouch.
I hope this can help.
regards.!

It's actually the opposite so you have to be fair on both of them. Sayumi is ladish why my Momomi is a bit tomboyish. Even so, those attitude exist on both of them.
Interesting makeup tutorials. Sounds like you work at the parlor for some time xD
I have to watch those how to videos on youtube.
There's even this one woman who smashes her head repeatedly on the camera for no reason.
Cheese,
RJ
