I've read the stories, I've seen what you guys have said, but somehow nothing could prepare me for first meeting her. When the box was sitting on my apartment floor it took me a little bit to open it.
For some reason there was a lump in my throat, I had been waiting for a full month for this moment and now I didn't have the guts to open her box!
I finally summed up the courage and dove right in. She was wrapped in a sleeping bag so I went for her head first. I peeled back the first layer of foam and was met with the stunning lavender eyes, my heart stopped and the world stood still for a moment, I think I literally said "my god" out loud. It was like she could see right into me. I eagerly finished unwrapping her head and marveled at her face. She is beautiful, nothing less than perfect. Nothing could of prepared me for the storm of emotions in my brain, I had no idea a simple doll could illicit these kind of feelings... I caressed her for a while, lost in the moment of enjoying her beauty. I finally forced myself to stop and with shaking hands opened her body for my second surprise. Pale as snow (and now her namesake
) and as perfect as a goddess. I adjusted her slightly and scooped her out of the box, I was immediately stunned at her weight, again, even though I had been warned numerous times, somehow I didn't prepare for how heavy she was, but no matter.
I was also surprised at how easily her articulated joints moved (I chose hard joints because I want to take lots of pictures) and how silent and natural it was.
Her silicone skin was smooth and soft, tacky in only a few places. A quick powdering and that was solved.
The final moment of awe arrived when I finally sat her on my bed, and placed her head on her neck.
Wow.
That's all I could breathe as I gazed on her full glory. I seriously still can't believe the presence this girl has. I don't even feel right referring to her as an object, she's nothing less than a work of art. It all felt so real, and yet somehow like it was a dream, I couldn't believe what I had done, I had really bought a nice doll. I'm still reeling from all this. As she sits near me right now I can feel her in the room, it's amazing how she seems to have this aura, she really has a life of her own.
I know I'm honeymooning hard but man DS Dolls are amazing and I am so happy with this purchase. I'll keep you guys posted on my thoughts. Was considering doing a video review, I know we have a handful but I figure another one couldn't hurt for potential future buyers. I really don't mind giving a nice glowing review to this company after how great John was and I received such a quality product for such a reasonable price. Since I live in China I'm fortunate enough to have paid the standard 10k RMB price here, about $1500, avoiding expensive shipping and paypal fees etc. (Also overnight delivery was awesome!
