Interchangeability of heads 145 with 163 bodies?

I thought I saw somewhere someone reporting the possibility of using 145 heads on the 163 body. . . .

But the neck diameter of the 145 heads is too small to allow that. Can anyone illuminate?

I have a Kathy head on my 145 minus doll. Fits fine.

Thanks - yes - fitting the larger heads to the smaller bodies will work mechanically . . .

It's fitting the smaller heads to the larger bodies that I'm wondering about in particular . . . ?

Anyone any experience of this?

Works for me. sKayla and Tong fits on my 168 (now called 163) The new soft silicone easily stretches over the neck. You may recall harem, that I prefered the 145 head size to the correct head size, as the head to shoulder proportions seem more realistic. I have a picture thread somewhere here. I'll see if I can find it...

If you're talking about the same DS bodies, I think I've seen that before. Usually mi6c was around that time for that matter... I think.

If you're talking about hybrid with another body, in my experience, 145 DS Heads fits well on Sanhui 165. There's also possibility that 145DS Heads can fit Sanhui 145 only that 145DS has bigger neck diameter than the Sanhui 145 which I believe is few inch smaller than Sanhui 165. I can't say the same thing about JM and Z-One, it would be cool if someone who owns a lot of dolls attempts to do all those cross fitting regardless of skintone difference.

This applies to DS. I've seen some TDF members here who owns 145 - 160+ range dolls yet not show any cross fit for the heads. If I have only those bigger once, I can easily do the same thing.
