Snow arrived in East Anglia this morning for a few hours, Sarah looked out of the window and was quite excited......

I hope this works - I put the plastic container in the freezer for a while so hopefully the snow would not melt too quickly.

So there you have it folks. The day Sarah got to touch some snow.....just hope she is satisfied and doesn't get the idea of making a snow angel in her head next time it snows !!!

Those are really sweet shots Anglian. Sarah's obviously delighted with the snow. Hanna is opting for staying in bed, she reckons there won't be many lions out on the wild plains today and the tree climbing looks a bit hazardous.

Hollows go and get the girls some snow I bet they could have some fun.

It was seeing Ashaki 's post in the Dolls Alive forum that reminded me that Sarah has only ever seen snow through the bedroom window, and last time we didn't get very much. So I was going to get her dressed in something warmer and take her downstairs, but being a lazy so and so (me not her !) I came up with a "cunning plan", which seemed to work quite well.

Hi Mondoon, Sarah was of the same opinion as Hanna, she was quite glad to stay in bed in the warm!

Wow. Sarah is s lucky girl. I've never seen snow. It's too hot here for that. In fact it was 38°c today. ..that's 100.4 f

. And we haven't really had much warm weather here yet....true. .!
If I was Sarah I'd get some more snow and pour some strawberry flavour Over it to make some snow cones. ....hehe

As there's snow on the ground tonight, the weather forecast is for very cold conditions and it could get down to -12C in parts of the Country by the morning!!!!! Try climbing into your freezer, Oz, and you might get to know what that feels like!!

I'll post some stuff with Ashaki and Vivette about today in a while!

Awwwwww ... Sarah got her first experience with snow ... how cute! Nina is a little jealous 'cause she didn't get to see or touch any snow this winter. We had a tiny bit of snow this winter that lasted maybe an hour before it melted. No snow but some intense cold though ... I'd trade it all for sunshine in a New York minute.

Love Sarah's PJ's ... they look so warm and comfy ... great to cuddle up close with her.

Thanks for bumping this thread Von and Oz !

Sarah has been tucked up in bed during the winter keeping warm and, apart for her snow shoot, we have not done any photos........that is likely to change soon (ish) as spring is allegedly around the corner.

She is so glad that Nina is back and has asked me to let her know when Von posts some photos of Nina when she gets her own shiny dress coz she wants to wear hers at the same time !
