Warning! The blanket that came with my dolls is very soft!!!

Post by Gundam »

So I thought I put everything away before my 9 year old daughter got home. However, I left one of the very soft blankets that came with my dolls out on a chair. My daughter sees it as soon as she walked in and touched it exclaiming "Daddy where did you get this blanket? It is so soft! Can I have it?".

What was I supposed to say? "Oh, I got that at the store today. I thought you would like it".

Oh well...

Good to know you have everything covered and thought of a good cover-up.

Cool story!
笑. It's good for you.

yeah the blanket the doll came with is very soft, I dropped it on the floor and then tried to dust it off and a lot of dust thing came out, I am guessing it's powder? anyone know if they use corn starch or talcum powder? not familiar with talcum powder but heard from here that it can cause cancer. I place the blanket on the sofa and then put doll over it. Should I be worried about sitting on the sofa, sleeping there etc. transfering the blanket powder to bed and everywhere? a little worried because I heard China kids toys sometimes they find they are made of poisonous material etc. other China products, milk powder poisonous etc. any worries?

v.v;

...I love the blanket. It's like, literally the best enduring thing about my last TPE purchase. Weird, I know, but it just feels so good and soft and warm. @_@

I mix it in with a nice microfiber quilt, and the two are all I need to keep me warm/comfy in my always-56-degrees-F-or-less apartment. ^_^

Wow. That's cold. I'd have a hard time living in such an environment. Of course living in the South for so long I'm cold when it gets below 70F.

Yeah...I typically have to jack it up to 64 or something when friends come by, because I've yet to meet someone who likes it as cold as I do. I really love it this way, and it helps make my gas/electric bill absolutely minuscule during the winter months. Of course, during the summer months...yeesh.

I actually used to live in the Florida Panhandle when I was a kid, and I cannot tell you how much of a mismatch that was.

You have probably heard of the experiment where they took people from the Equator and North Pole regions and relocated them to test human adaptability.

Those from the Equator eventually did adapt to the cold of the North Pole however those from the North Pole had to be sent back. They simply could not adapt to the heat.

Another little known fact. Former US President Lyndon Johnson took 50F showers.

I know of what you speak. I once left one of my Phicens out and my Grand Daughter found her and ASSUMED she was for her........That took some negotiations and a new doll of her choice to exchange as ransom, lol!!
