The parents of the children informed the police, a police car and a emergency doctor were sent to the Heide-Nord district whereupon. Since as well as police, as went out also emergency doctor from a corpse and were not excluding a crime, they ordered criminal police and coroners. The place of discovery was locked up. Halle on Saale: In the town district Heide-Nord witnesses believed to find a women-corpse on Thursday evening at 17 o'clock. Considering the condition of the body I can understand why people thought it was an organic corpse and not a silicone one. Definitely a possibility that is going to come up more and more often as dolls gain in popularity.

Thanks for the English translation, it was a bit beyond my barely retained High School German from 25 years ago.

This looks like oneof those fanta flesh torso doll thingies. Siliconenever biodegrades like this stuff did. She looks like she would be a good halloween prop.

This has happened before. It is not easy to dispose of a doll. Fortunately there are many here that will "rescue" unwanted dolls.

sad that someone buried it instead of selling...although if this story was 3 weeks ago it would kinda just seem like an incredibly expensive april fools prank haha

Maybe it was a student prank.

I recall something similar here in Canada more than 40 years ago. In a certain city--for some reason, Vancouver comes to mind--drivers crossing a bridge one morning got a shock. They saw a body hanging from the end of a rope which had been fastened to one of the structural members. Police were called in to investigate. It turned out it was a mannequin and it was done as a stunt by students during Engineering Week.

lol that's funny, it must have been really foggy or something...i don't see how people could look at a mannequin long enough to get the cops dialed and not be like "oh, wait a sec..."

Isn't Vancouver where disembodied feet kept washing up, or is that a different city? weird stuff lol

It could well have been obscured by weather. I started grad studies at UBC in the late 1970s and I remember it being overcast or foggy much of the time. The weather was one reason I dropped out and transferred back to my alma mater to finish my degree.

I also recall that the engineering students once hung a VW Beetle from the Lions Gate Bridge and there was concern about that.

The bridge goes over Burrard Inlet, which ships going to and from the harbour have to travel along. Although the bridge is high enough for the ships to pass under, it was feared that the car might drop onto one of them. Every few years a ship manages to collide with one of the bridge's pylons, though that's usually been attributed to poor navigation. Avoiding anything falling from the bridge could also result in a similar accident as ships can't turn on a dime, particularly in such a confined space.

Apparently that stunt's been repeated at least once since then. The local constabulary, obviously, took a dim view to that.

I'm not sure if any have shown up there but, according to the accounts I've heard, they're often found along the coast on Vancouver Island. Nobody seems to know where they come from or why.

What for a dreadful finding, that two ten year old children had to do in Heide-Nord district opposite a playground in the Lunzbergring on Thursday afternoon. A little hidden, they discovered an alleged women corpse.
