Annaisette & Millisande Say Thanks - Themselves!
So this was harder than I thought it would be, and I ended up having less time then I would have liked to complete this little "experimental production". Sorry it took so long.
The Video is aprox. 3 minutes, and looks best if you select 720p HD on a PC or Mac, and can be viewed on iPad as well.
Sooo many different pieces of software needed to be used. Everything from Chroma keying the shots for the background, templating the dolls for pupeteering, synchronizing the vocal audio for both actors, editing the video, yikes! I had to stop "tweaking" so many times, or it would never get finished!
Probably the hardest was building the English vocabulary for the French synthetic voice. It was like trying to teach a dumb robot a new language - every single word had to be rebuilt - phonetically!
I hope everyone can understand the dolls speech, as the technology and my tinkering with it are far from perfect. But I just thought the French accent added so much to the personality, that I couldn't let go!
It was all very rewarding to me to see them come to life a bit, and I hope you enjoy the verbal feedback from the "girls" themselves, instead of me just saying "thanks" in a text reply.
Now on to see if I can get them to pole dance...
Ha!

Awesome!
The best part was at 1:20min - she says my name!
This adds a cool new way to play with our dolls! Soooooooo cool! No idea how you did it, some kind of animation program or something? I've seen people do them of dead poets, but it does NOTHING for me, like these two! I think it's disrespectful to move the mouths of the dead poets like that.
Reason: Removed embedded youtube video, as first post has it now.

I did a 4 second animation with Anjie, it was somewhere between 60 to 80 pictures
and several hours over 2 days.

Have you check out IClone 5 it makes making these a lot easer?
Like JM has done for me.

To avoid seperate threads for the same content, I'm going to attach the link to the main post (with some outtake pics) in the PIB sub forum here:

The original photoshoot can be viewed in the doll album:

Thanks again,
Max
PS: Thanks for the tip EMELY. Unfortunately I'm trying to keep my content as photo-realistic as possible, and iClone just doesn't have the tools I need. But it was very nice of you to reccomend it.
