I am the proud owner of 2 fakes!! One from eBay and one from Amazon (pre TDF purchases)......

Both sellers used the exact same Sanhui 145 cm picture for 80 cm doll.

Got my money back on Amazon - No luck with eBay and PayPal.

I also in the beginning looking at dolls for non Vendors. But i researches this self a lot, later also read about what other have for a experience of buying dolls and also reading a lot on this forum.
My conclusion was it is not a good deal to going for the cheap non Vendors. You can be lucky, but in most case you will lose on the deal.
If people like to gambling about their money it´s up to them, but i never do it.
After more then one year researching, i decided to go for a real Vendor and this cost more, but you pay for what you got, at list in 99% of the case.

I can only say that i hope you be lucky, but the chance is you will regret it later.

From what I have seen a better term than FAKE would be CLONE, a similar looking Doll than could have possibly been made to an Inferior standard to the Original, or use inferior materials, this can also include Factory Seconds, that were not made to the Factory Standard.
Along the Way Pursuing this Hobby, I am sure I have purchased a FAKE or Two.... :P

I agree to that.
And the formula for making the dolls can have other ingredients that is not so good for us.

If need be, contact vendor and let them know mail fraud is a felony.
Tell them you want your money back.
They might actually do so.
Good luck

. One vendor name kept coming up as being great at helping customers walk through the process, Booty Call Dolls. So I decided I would work with them on this first purchase, and did.

I just realized that the seller is called Erosdolls Inc (according to the package that I'll be receiving on Tuesday) I looked them up and they sell dolls on Amazon that say "fulfilled by Amazon" does that mean the seller is legit ???

I guess you'd need to re-define 'legit'.

You already know for sure that you're not getting
what was in the photos.

Might as well let it play out

I checked out some of the reviews on Amazon of the dolls they sell. On one hand most say the doll does look like the pics. But on the other hand they talk about broken backs, limp wrist and torn openings after use. You get what you pay for. For the most part I buy direct from the company that made the original designs or a reseller that works with those companies. As with most hand made items you may get lucky and get a doll that is well made. But to cut the cost some short cuts will be made with these copy-cat dolls i. e. thinner skin or bad welds. The price the doll skin can be seen just by checking what the raw materials sells for on the open market. If the whole doll is being sold for less than that cost you know something is up. The good news is this is the best place for info on where to buy from. The biggest problem with getting a doll from anyone is the shipping. Even the best made doll can be damaged by poor handling during shipping. Good Luck!
