Are RealDoll Faces Toxic?

Post by LovesBlackWomen »

I stare into their eyes and kiss them. I keep my face in theirs for long periods of time. I also sleep in their arms, my face right next to "hers".
Do the dolls emit any gases or dust that could be a problem? Are they anything like Asbestos.
If I sleep with them, I could be in their face for like eight hours.

Platinum-cure silicone is very inert. As long as you don't use any sort of makeup or powder or anything you might be allergic to, you'll be fine.

You never truly feel that another person loves you. You can only react to the way they behave towards you. And when I look in Caley's eyes and see that same bittersweet longing I feel for her, whatever part of my brain knows it's not real doesn't seem to care...

What if the RealDoll was made in 2007. I am assuming it was Tin Cure Silicone. Is that toxic or is it O.K.?

I could not find medical evidence published to indicate that this would be hazardous or toxic in either form, unless one was genetically allergic (and by now you would know), or you inhaled and choked on silicone particles.

If you have a Real doll she devil on the other hand, and you piss her of, her attitude becomes toxic and then that is a hazard to ones health, but not sure about the other Abyss Gals, Natasha is pretty layed back and Lexi is just bitchy.

Just a bit of info about what is toxic in dolls, TPE is an excellent BACTERIAL growing medium. What you put on TPE is absorbed into it and just sits in there and percolates. Silicone literally sweats the oil out of it, the reason that stains fade on silicone is the process. No matter how much you clean TPE it doesn't get all of the BACTERIA. Most people that die after surgery or that are in the hospital are killed by a BACTERIAL infection. So silicone is good, TPE is bad! Look it up, its the truth....
A never ending parade of beautiful Realdolls and of course, HARMONY!!

This is a bit of overly-generalized info.
The surface of the TPE has pores and things can get into the pores
and if it isn't cleaned, all sorts of nasty things could happen.

That's also true of your own skin.

And unless you have a high gloss mirror finish, it is also true for silicone.

If you think silicone 'sweats oil' .. TPE has silicone beat in that department.

And the reason that stains 'fade' on silicone is not the process, it is the fact
that very few things will bond with silicone. The 'stain' is temporary because it
can only get a temporary hold.

"Silicone is good, TPE is bad!" is just not accurate.

If it were that simple, you wouldn't find so many medical devices made from TPE's.

Well then are TPE Faces toxic, I sometimes sleep with a TPE face very close to mine, never had any Rashes or Anything, but have wondered about the toxicity :? and no there are no Traditional TPE smells.

I think it would depend on the blend, and manufacturers aren't sharing that info.
But generally speaking, any vapors emitted should be well below the short term
exposure limits if you're buying from a reputable source.

And the amount of vapor goes down the further you get from the date of manufacturing.

If you haven't had any reaction to the smell and no skin reactions, I'd say you're fine.
And time is your friend, here. I think the main issue would be any styrenics that leech out,
and that happens on a curve. The older it gets, the less it is an issue.
