While my doll web site is off line, here are two photos I took of my model-making assistant, Kylie, with my Airfix 1/72 scale Avro Vulcan. I finished the Vulcan yesterday and it leap-frogged (in construction time) the 1/48 scale Mitsubishi Zero and a couple of vintage motocross bikes that are still sitting partly done on my modelling table.

Kylie was made in 2011.

I posted more photos of the Vulcan here.

For good measure, I also added a photo I took in May of the under-belly crew access hatch.

She is gorgeous!!!!! What do you use to powder her? Her skin looks great.

Thanks guys. She time-shares that body with Lina. I do not often get Kylie out of her head box. However, by coincidence, today I saw a poster of Eve, James Bond's assistant, so I think maybe a new Bond movie is due shortly. Kylie posed as Eve in an earlier photo shoot (in that same jacket) so I might get her to do some more as Eve. (Not to be confused with Eva, one of my other dolls, made in China..)

On her body, I use Johnson's Baby Powder, which I am told is corn starch powder. It is widely available here in Britain. However, it does show up on the dark dolls, at least for a while after powdering. (I have heard of people mixing cocoa powder with it, but I would have thought that, being water soluble, it would end up as a sticky mess. However, I have not tried it, so I don't know for sure.)

I do not powder her face. Unlike earlier Realdolls, Kylie (the face) has a special matt finish that does not need powdering.

Wow I would have never guessed it, actually there is a method that I just found that would help you also just google "making colored cornstarch powder" and you will instantly get a fast easy way to do it if you'd like....just substitute the bright food coloring with brown food coloring, you wouldnt want your lady to turn blue, unless your into sexy Avatar women, like me lol

You could just use cocoa to powder her, and she'd smell like chocolate!

We had pink sunlight coming through the windows first thing. The camera did its best, but the photo does not show the full colors.
