For anyone else who's wondering: To release a limb you have to push the metal ring around the bone on the torso side of the connection.

I got my JY doll with detachable limbs, assembled her but now I can't get the limbs detached again? I haven't seen a manual anywhere in the box but just pulling on them doesn't seem to move anything. Can't see any way to unlock them either. How does this work?

If nobody bought it then who would keep producing it?

I have a feeling that the product doesn't get made anymore.

You can also just dress a plush doll like a Happydoll in a latex bodysuit, they make those in skin color but I think just stuffing one directly would produce a relatively blobby shape.

For a basic inflatable one (or something you stuff with polyfill) you can order a custom design from a place like Latex Catfish, they can make inflatable items, not just clothes. PVC loses plasticizer when exposed to skin oils (washing those off after use may improve longevity), once it runs out it becomes stiff and brittle. Basically they (try to) make whatever you send them a picture of. Don't expect an amazing likeness but they're at least sturdy as fuck. Certainly cheaper than trying to make a custom silicone doll for a more outlandish design.
