Re: Oil from the TPE causing skin issues

I had a similar issue with my skin recently (raised bumps, itchy - like contact dermatitis). Got my first doll 4 months ago, thoroughly cleaned and powdered her as soon as I unpacked her, and gave her another clean/powder the following week. I have kept her in my bed ever since (I only have her for ...

Re: New Nipple Monday at Reverend Jacks

OK, after a fair bit of trial and error with casting and trying to get the right firmness/blend, I finally got there. Ended up purchasing a small bag of TPE pellets (fir firmness), added them to a small jar with some 94 primer and then decanted that into another small jar which had the nipple colour...

Re: New Nipple Monday at Reverend Jacks

WOW Wheezer you are a font of knowledge, thank you for sharing and explaining. Making TPE nipples is obviously much more than the mix/pour/peel process I envisaged

Re: New Nipple Monday at Reverend Jacks

Thanks for the input Wheezer, here in the UK toaster ovens with a drop front door aren't typically a thing, ours just have slots for the bread slices and don't have temp controls. If the air fryer's not a good option, I'll probably consider using the grill / small top oven on the cooker

Re: New Nipple Monday at Reverend Jacks

Thanks RevJack & Wheezer for the advice & encouragement, will give both options a try & see which works best for me. I don't have a toaster I can put the molds into, but do have an air fryer & can set the temp on that, so might give that a try (will put them on a pyrex dish, just in ...

Re: New Nipple Monday at Reverend Jacks

So, first attempt!!! Happy with the silicone molds, but I think I need a bit more experimentation with the paste/pouring technique, as the end nipples weren't all that great :? 1. Prepped the mold (small ceramic ramekins) by smearing vaseline on the inside of the dish to act as a release agent, and ...

Re: New Nipple Monday at Reverend Jacks

Hi RevJack, Thanks for the info, deffo going to stick with using the 3M 94 primer to make my TPE paste, simply due to the number of posts referring to this stuff and the fact it is a known/reputable product that is consistent, also me being a total novice at this doll modding lark and not keen on us...

Re: New Nipple Monday at Reverend Jacks

I'm planning to buy some 2 part Silicone rubber compound (Tin cured with shore rating 28) to have a go at making a mould of a pair of silicone nipples I have (number 3 on pics), so that I could cold cast a duplicate pair in TPE, to attach to a TPE doll. Does anyone know how to make TPE paste so that...
